今日は10月10日 体育の日!! （今は10月の第2月曜日が体育の日ですね。）
日本では各地で運動会が行われていることでしょう。
マイアミもすがすがしい天気が続いています。

気の済んだレアにお留守番を頼み、
その後、マミィとボーイズは「Rain --- A Tribute to the Beatles 」のショーを見に行きました。
ただのそっくりさんショー なのかと思っていたのですが、
昨日車の中でラジオを聴いていたら、素晴らしい!!と絶賛していたので
急きょ行くことにしました。

昨日10月9日はジョンレノンの70歳の誕生日でした。
アイスランドの首都レイキャビク近郊にあるモニュメント「イマジン・ピース・タワー」で
再点灯式が行われたそうです。
このモニュメントは、オノ・ヨーコの作品を基に２００７年に建設されたもの。
式典では元ビートルズのリンゴ・スターが、オノ・ヨーコと共に
「平和を我等に」を熱唱したそうです。

Yesterday (October 9th) was John Lennon's 70th birthday.
The re-lightning ceremony was held in front of monument "Imagine Peace Tower"
in Reykjavic in Iceland.
This monument is constructed base on Yoko Ono's work in 2007.

In the ceremony, Ringo Star and Yoko Ono sung "Give Peace a Chance".
曲目は年代順に演奏され、彼らのコスチュームや、髪型、つけひげなどで
見た目もしっかり再現されていました。
演奏や歌のレベルもビートルズファンを納得させるもの。
特にポールの役をやっていた人は、話し方などもかなり似ていたように思います。
ただ、演奏を聴けば聴くほど、ビートルズの才能の凄さを改めて思い、
リアルタイムで生の音を聞いてみたかったなあと思いました。
ちなみに、今日ジョージ役をやっていた人はマイアミ出身の人だったそうです。
The songs were performed in the chronological order.
They were refractions of the Beatles, because they wore costumes, wigs and fake mustache etc...
The level of their song and performance were awesome.
Especially, the person as Paul McCartney looked alike .
However, the talent of "the Beatles" were super awesome.
We had wanted to hear the sound of live in real time.
I thought the member of Rain was changed.
