日本食とタイ料理 It's a small Asia.

今日、夕方にダディが出張先から戻ってきたので、

週末ブランチに行けなかったレアと一緒にディナーを食べに行くことにしました。

レアは車の中でウキウキです。

Daddy came back home in the evening and we went to eat dinner with Lea.

Lea was so happy because she didn't go branch last weekend.

我が家から一番近場の日本食レストラン、ジャパン・インへ。

Today, we went to the nearest Japanese restaurant "Japan Inn"

ジャパン・インがあるタウンセンターは、色々なレストランがあり

週末にはちょっとしたイベントなども行われています。

There are many restaurants in Weston Town Center.

The seasonal events are held in weekend.

サウスフロリダ特有の現象らしいのですが、

こちらで見かける日本食レストランはほとんどタイ料理と合体しています。

こちらの人にとっては日本もタイも同じアジアで大差がないんでしょうね。

そして、日本食と称しているメニューは大体が鉄板焼きと寿司、天ぷら。

寿司も日本では見ることのないような寿司ロールが中心です。

そして働いている人は、大体が中国人。
しかも、広東語を話しているのをよく聞くので、ちょっと懐かしくなります。

これは、今日注文したカリフォルニアロール。まだまともです。

Most Japanese restaurant in South Florida is combined into Thai restaurant.

The most of the menu called Japanese foods are
Teppan-yaki (Hibachi style cooking), Sushi and Tempura.

The Sushi rolls are unique that Japanese have never seen in Japan.

And most of all the waiter and waitress are Chinese.
They speak Cantonese, so we miss Hong Kong little bit. 

This is a California roll mommy ordered today.......not bad.

ボーイズが頼んだ、鉄板焼きステーキ＆ロブスター

味噌汁とチャーハンが付いてきます。

Boys Ordered Teppan-yaki  Steak & Lobster with fried rice and Miso soup.

.....not bad but it isn't a typical Japanese food.

ダディが頼んだエビと野菜の天ぷら。

盛り付け方のセンスにレアもびっくり!!

Daddy ordered Shrimp and vegetable Tempura (deep fried).

Looks strange!! What a sense!!

レアはカリフォルニアロールのきゅうりとご飯を少しおすそ分けしてもらいました。

Lea was able to eat rice and vegetable.

たとえフロリダ流日本食でも、みんなとお出かけをして大満足のレアでした。

Lea doesn't matter what a kind of food. 

It is important for Lea to go out with her family.
