i-Pad 2 Songs for Japan

今月11日に発売になったi-Pad2 は即日完売!!

その後いつ在庫が出荷されるかわからなかったのでBest-Buyで予約。

今日連絡が入り、ついに我が家にやってきました。

i-Pad 2 that went on sale on Mar.11th went out of stock immediately.

Nobody had any idea when we can buy it, we made a reservation at Best buy.

Finally, we was able to get it!!

アップルマニアの上の子は、いくつかすでにアプリケーションを購入済み。

色々と使って喜んでいました。

明日はテストなのでちゃんと勉強してください!!

Older boy who is famous as Apple mania, 

already purchased some application for i-pad.

He seemed very happy because he got and used it.

Please study hard because tomorrow is mid term test.

25日に i-Tune store で世界同時発売になった"Songs For Japan"は

東日本大震災のチャリティアルバムです。

計38曲、どれも大物アーティストばかりです。

日本、アメリカなど18カ国で一位になっているそうです。

ボーイズは購入しようと思ったらお小遣いがたらなかったので、

芝刈りをすると言っていました。。。。

On Mar.25th, a compliation album "Songs For Japan" that is benefit 

the ongoing disaster relief efforts in the earthquake and Tunami ravaged nation,

was made available for purchase on iTunes.

it is available worldwide on the iTune store for $9.99.

Proceeds from the sale of this album will benefit the Japan Red Cross Society.

Older boy tried to buy, but he didn't have enough money.

He will do lawn mowing weekend for earning the money.......

さて、これからはi-pad を使いこなして、

来月、ランチ会の幹事をすることになったマミィ

ずっと、お店選びに悩んでいました。。。。。

候補の一つ、スペイン料理のお店に急きょ行ってみることに。

決めちゃおうかな？

Mommy is looking for a restaurant 

because she is an organizer of lunch party of next month.

Mommy tried a Spanish restaurant today.

Taste good and atmosphere is very nice too.

マミィが家に戻った後、レアはしばらく庭で遊んでいました。

After mommy came back home, Lea wanted to play in backyard.

その間、マミィはリボンレイの続きです。

チャリティショーの日程も具体的になってきたので急がないと。。。

Mommy continue to make ribbon leis.

The schedule of charity Hula show seems to fix.

.....mommy should make it in a quick pace.

風が心地よい。。。。

welcome breeze.......

掛け替えのない。。 The only one!

今日レアはヘアーカットに行きました。

ダディの要望で短すぎずハーフインチでお願いしてあるので

以前紹介したような首ふり人形にはならなそう。。。

Lea went to get hair cut today.

Daddy didn't want short hair, mommy asked them half inch length.

Lea won't be a Bubble head.

おめかしもせずにお出かけと言われ、不信感いっぱいのレアでしたが

When mommy told "Let's go, Lea!",

Lea put an incredulous look on her face because she didn't wear her dress.

車の中では嬉しそう。。。

昨日、空一面覆っていた雲もちぎれて良い天気です。

Lea seemed happy in the car.

The clouds that covered all of sky yesterday broke away,

it's a beautiful day!!

レアのヘアーカットは一日がかりなので

マミィはフラの先生から頼まれていたパウスカートを一気に作りました。

この布地を見たらレアはすぐ上に乗ってきますから。。。。

スカート作りはひたすら直線縫い。一枚約30ヤード!

今日は5枚作ったので、トータル150ヤード縫ったことになります!!

Lea is not in the home all day long today.

Mommy made Hula skirts that her teacher asked.

If there is Lea, she will come on these fabric soon.

Mommy has to sew about 30yards per one skirt, she made five skirts today.

Mommy would sewed total 150 yards !! Wow!

お昼になったので休憩しようと思ったのですが

いつもだったらランチをシェアーするレアがいない。。。。

シリアルで済ませてしまいました。。。。

When mommy took a break for lunch, there wasn't Lea that demand to share the lunch

Mommy prepared only cereal for her.

ボーイズも学校から戻った時、レアのお出迎えがないとさみしいらしい。

家族にとってレアは掛け替えのない存在です。

When boys came back home, there wasn't Lea.

They seemed to feel disappointed.

Lea is the only one for our family.

4時に電話があり、お迎えに行くと

フワフワになったレアが出てきました。

When mommy picked her up at 4pm, fluffy Lea was coming.

家に戻ると、「ただいま～」とボーイズたちの部屋に走って行きました。

そしてやっぱり。。。。

仕上がったスカートの上に乗り、一休み。

お疲れ様でした!

After Lea came back home, she run into boys' room

"I'm here!!"

Lea! you looks so beautiful!! I miss you!

Lea looked so tired, she took a nap on the skirts that mommy made today.

日本の被災地で避難所生活をしている人たちの中には

ペットが避難所に入れないところもあり

車の中で寝泊まりをしている人のエコノミー症候群が心配されています。

震災はペットと飼い主との暮らしも引き裂きます。

ボーイズたちにこの問題を投げかけたら、

やはりレアと離れることは考えられないと言っていました。

ペットを預かるボランティア活動も行われているそうです。

In Japan, the people who are spending in shelter are not able to bring their pets to there.

Some people sleep in the car with their pets, but they are worry about economy syndrome.

The earthquake disaster tears up a pet and the living with the owner.

Boys said that they can't image to live away from Lea.

The volunteer that take care of pets started too.

今日は久しぶりに雨です。

夕方からは 雷も鳴り

”バケツの水をひっくり返したよう”と言う表現がぴったり 。

これから夏に向かってフロリダはこのような雨のシーズンが続きます。

It's a rainy day today!!

The thunder sounded from evening.

It's a heavy rain seems flip the bucket upside down.

こうなると困るのがレアのお散歩。

リーシュでアピールしていたレアも、雨と雷の音にびっくり!!

Lea brought her leash and appealed to go for a walk but

she was startled to hear a sound of thunder.

マミィは今日も時間があるとせっせと手を動かし

リボンレイを作り続けています。

ハワイアンキルトの教室で、リボンレイの講習も行ったことがあり

その時の遺産のリボンたち。。。。

Mommy is still making ribbon lei bracelet when she has a time.

Mommy taught ribbon lei making in her Hawaiian quilt class before.

These ribbon are stock of her quilt class.  

レアも興味があるようなので、使い切ったリボンの芯と、半端な長さのリボンで

レアのおもちゃも作ってあげました。。。。。

 Lea likes ribbon and she wants to help mommy.

Mommy made Lea's toy with center core of ribbon and short length ribbon.

一つ作るのに約30分ですが、家事や買い物の合間にしているので

なかなかはかどりません。頑張らないと。。。。

もう少し簡単にできるシングルブレードのリストバンドも作ってみようかな?

ヘルプをお願いします。。。。。

Mommy needs about 30 min to make one bracelet.

However, mommy can't make it a lot 

because she is making it during housework and shopping.

Mommy is thinking to make other design that is made more easily.
Somebody help!! Please!!

好きなお店 Favorite restaurant

昨晩はコーラルゲーブルズのVillage at Merrick Park へディナーへ出かけました。

Lea went to Village at Merrick Park in Coral Gables, for dinner.

パークの周りにショップやレストランが立ち並ぶようなこのモールは

ドッグフレンドリーで、各所にドギーポストも置かれています。

 There are many shops and restaurants around the park.

You can find doggy posts because this mall is dog friendly.

今日レアが来たのはSAWA 

ここはワンちゃん専用メニューもあります。

Lea chose the restaurant SAWA today, because they have doggy menu.

気持ちの良い外席。

他のワンちゃんもいました。

Outside table is comfortable.

Another dog was cozy on the chair.

セビーチェ、ソフトシェルクラブ、ドラゴンロール、海藻サラダ、

海老の天ぷら。。。。

Today's Menu

Ceviche, Deep fried Soft Shell Crab, Dragon Roll,

Seaweed Salad, Shrimp & Vege Tempra.

そしてレアはサーモングリルを注文しました。

レアには少し多めかな？。。。。しっかり完食して大満足!!

Lea ordered Grilled Salmon.

Looks too much for Lea....... Lea could eat all!!

食事の後はパーク内を散歩して、ウィンドーショッピング。

レアはおねだりも忘れません。。。。。？

Lea walked around and went window-shopping.

Lea seemed to find the brilliant things at this shop!!









日本の友人から現状のメールをもらい
香港からは支援運動の話を聞き
ますます自分が出来ることを。。。と思います。
しかし、ちょっと考えすぎてしまったのか
マミィは自分が津波にさらわれた街で途方に暮れている夢を見ました。
感謝の心を忘れずに、自分の生活をしっかり生きて行こう。

Mommy got email from Japan, they told her about current unusual condition.
The friend of Hong kong said that many people donated money
for disaster area of Japan.
Mommy is thinking about what she can do.
 However, mommy may think about it too much,
she dreamed that she felt completely at a loss in the town
where  was washed away by Tsunami.
Don't forget gratitude, and live in one's  life well.
