今年9回目を迎えるオーキッドフェスティバルが
コーラルゲーブルスのFairchild Garden で行われました。
The 9th Orchid Festival was held at Fairchild Garden in Coral gables.
会場はオーキッドの販売や品評会、食べ物のブースなどでにぎわっています。
毎年Ohana Artsはこのイベントに参加し、
ハワイアンミュージックとフラのショーを行っています。
There are many booths.
The garden was full of the people who came to watch the orchid show.
Ohana Arts attend this event every year, and perform Hawaiian live music and Hula.
マミィも今年で2度目の参加となりました。
カヒコ2曲、アウアナの後、子供たちと一緒にフラレッスン。
It's the second participation for mommy.
We performed ancient Hula 2songs, modern Hula,
and Hula lesson with kids.
そしてマミィのソロ、ちょっと緊張して少し間違えてしまいました。。。
見ていた人は気づかなかったらしいので、ちょっと安心。
Mommy had a chance to do solo this time,
she made a small mistake.... but nobody knows....Phew～
最後に全員でもう一曲。
1時間弱のショーが無事に終わりました。。。。ほっ。
About one hour show finished in one piece after we dance one more song together.
We made it!!

日本の地震の被害は拡大を続け
犠牲者の数は増大しています。
ニュースの映像を見ていると涙が出てくる思いです。
日本の友人からのメールでも
被災地でなくとも不安な毎日を送っていることが本当によく伝わってきます。
地球が怒っているかのような今回の出来事。
これはいつ誰の身に降りかかるか分かりません。
日々を元気に過ごせることに心から感謝して
毎日をしっかり生きていかなければいけないと思います。
そして、一日も早くこの悲惨な状況が終息に向かう事を心から祈ります。
The damage of the Japanese earthquake continues spreading,
and the number of victims increase.
I cry when I watch a image of the news.
Even Japanese friends who are not living in the disaster area spend uneasy days.
Looks like the earth is angry....
Nobody knows when we encounter a disaster.
We have to appreciate that we can spend every day healthy,
and we have to live solidly.
I pray for this miserable situation going to the end as soon as possible heartily.
