今日は国際的イベントとして、「アースアワー」が行われます。
これは世界中の人々が、2011年3月26日の午後8時30分から9時30分まで、
電気を消す事で「地球温暖化防止」訴えるイベントです。
At 8:30 PM on Saturday 26th March 2011,
lights will switch off around the globe for Earth Hour and
people will commit to actions that go beyond the hour.
日本でも開催されるそうです。
そして今回は東日本大地震の被災地を応援するイベントとして行われ
世界各地で、消灯前の1分間黙祷を捧げるそうです。
With Earth Hour almost upon us, our thoughts are with the people of Japan
during this incredibly challenging and sad time for their country.
The people are going to offer one minute silent prayer for the victims

下の子はアートクラスのの宿題で 自然を考えました。
スコットランド在住の芸術家Andy Goldsworthy の作品のように
石や枝、植物など自然環境の中で見つけたもので作品を作ります。
Younger boy thought about nature and environment.
His homework of Art class is making an art
that he uses the nature material, stones, leaves or flowers...etc
like a British sculptor Andy Goldsworthy.
パームツリーの葉などを集めて、作り始めると
レアも興味しんしんで見ていました。
When younger boy collected leaves and started to make it,
Lea was watching him.
”お手伝い!!” っといきなり、出来上がりかけた作品の上に飛び乗るレア。
あ～あ、もう一度やり直さなくちゃ。。。。
" I can help you!!"
Lea jumped on the art suddenly....
Oh No!! Younger boy has to do again!!
レアはそこから離れてなきゃダメ!

モデルレアはナイススマイルをカメラに向けます。
Lea, you have to stay away from there.
When daddy started to take a photo,
Lea watched the camera with her nice smail.
" Of course! I'm a model."
自然アートの完成。
