セントピータースバーグは美術館や博物館が多くありますが
特に、ダリ美術館は有名です。
サルバドール・ダリは、物が溶けてしまったような作品や
チュッパチャップスのロゴマークをデザインしたことでおなじみです。
There are many museum in this town, especially Dali museum is famous.
Chupa Chups logo was designed by Salvador Dali in 1969.
最近、新しく建設された建物もとても印象的。
いかにもダリなベンチ。。。。。
The building that was built recently is very impressive.
This bench is really Dali....
多くの作品を所蔵しているそうですが、展示点数はあまり多くないように感じました。
入館料大人$21
駐車場は無料なので、特にダリに興味がない方は、
建物の見学と、ギフトショップだけ無料で楽しまれたらどうでしょうか。。。
木曜日のみ5時以降の入場が$10なので、日程が合えばこちらをお勧めします。
This museum has a lot of collection,
but it seems the number of the exhibitions are not many.
Admission fee: adult $21
If you are very not interested in Dali,
it is enough to look the building from outside and visit only gift shop....parking is free.
On Thursday after 5pm, you can enter only $10 until 8pm.
We recommend it.
午後はフォート・デソト・パークに行きました。
パーク内のノースビーチは2005年に全米Ｎｏ１に選ばれました。
このサインを見て、レアも来れたね～と話していたのですが。。。。
We went to Fort De Soto Park in the afternoon.
The North beach was chosen No.1 beach of the U.S.A in 2005.
We found this sign!! Lea was able to come here!!...........
残念。。。。ビーチはダメでした。

白砂が続くビーチ。
水もとてもきれいで、まるで沖の孤島に来たようです。
White sand beach, very clear water......looks like isolated natural island.
おだやかなこの海が、日本の街をすっぽりと飲み込んでしまったのかと思うと
ちょっと複雑な気分でした。。。。
This calm blue washed out the town in Japan.......

ビーチの隣には19世紀に造られた砦があり
アメリカで唯一ライフリング付き300mm迫撃砲等が残っています。
In this park, there is a fort that was built in 19century.
The motars stood ready to defend the harbor of Tampa Bay
but never fired a shot at an enemy, only practice.
Fort De Soto as the only 12-inch seacoast mortars Model 1890-M1
in the continental U.S.
帰りに Kinjo Japanese restaurant でお寿司を頂きました。
なかなかおいしくいただけました。が一皿の量が多く食べきれませんでした。。。
We went to Kinjo Japanese restaurant for dinner and ate Sushi.
Sushi was good but other dishes were big and we were not able to eat all.
レアは今日も一人の夜を迎えます。。。。。
Lea spend a night alone .....
