Cars 2

映画「Cars 2」を観に行きました。

言わずと知れたピクサーの「Cars (2006年）」の続編です。

監督はJohn Lasseter です。

マックイーンがワールドグランプリに参戦し日本やヨーロッパを訪れます。

Boys went to the movie "Cars 2"

This is a computer animated film produced by Pixar Animation Studios,

and it is the sequel to the 2006 film "Cars".

This is directed by John Lasseter.

In the film, race car Lightning McQueen head to Japan and Europe 

to compete in the World Grand Prix.

しかし今回はレースをするマックイーンより

親友のメーターがスパイに巻き込まれながら大活躍する話です。

However, in this film, Mater becomes sidetracked with international espionage,

and he plays an important role more than McQueen.

とにかくとにかく映像が素晴らしく、

ストップして見てみたいほどでした。 

Every frame is rendered so beautifully you wish you could pause it.

ネオン街、トイレ先進国、芸者、寿司（わさび）

世界が見る日本のイメージなのでしょうか？

夜景しか出てこなかった日本の街は、どちらかと言うと香港のようでした。

The forest of neon, Developed country of toilet, Geisha girl, Sushi( wasabi) ....

Are these the image of Japan?

The city of Tokyo in the night looked like Hong Kong.

そして、オープニングパーティーで流れているＢＧＭはなんと

Perfume のポリリズム。

Pixar のスタッフにPerfume ファンがいたらしい。。。 

The BGM that was played at opening party was "poly rhythm" by Perfume.

One of the staff of Pixar seems a fan of Perfume....

世界を舞台に、レースとその裏に隠れる陰謀

というアクションも加わったストーリーでしたが

たくさん銃が出てきたり、スパイが殺されたり。。。。。

小さい子供はどのように見ていたのかな

と言うのが、我が家のボーイズの感想でした。

This story is, of course, the race of McQueen and

the action like 007 series of Mater,

but too many guns, a spy is murdered....

"Young kid may be complex."

This is the feedback of boys.

Young kids may get little pleasure from seeing these cars (plus boats, and a plane)

thrown into the spy thriller genre.

本編の前のショートムービーが

Toy Story でとても面白かったです!!
