二日目は滝を上から眺めようと、Skylon Tower へ行きました。
アメリカ側から流れてくるこの河の段差が作り上げた滝の様子がよくわかります。
We went to Skylon Tower to view from the tower.
We could see the state of the Falls very well.

タワーから見えたWelcome Center 脇、滝のすぐ近くまで行って見ることに。
フロリダは平たんな地形なので、こんな坂もちょっと珍しく感じました。
We walked down to Welcome Center on the side of Falls.
Florida is flat state, the slope like this is rare in Florida.

滝の近くを散歩するワンちゃんに出会いました。
We met a lot of dogs that was walking near Falls.
お昼過ぎ、NYへ移動するためトロント空港に向かいました。
レンタカーを返却すると、選んだ車が大きいサイズと言う理由で
追加料金を取られました!! えっー!?
どの車を選んでもいいと言われたと掛け合いディスカウントしてもらいましたが
今後気をつけないといけないですね。
その後、American Air のカウンターも
Immigration の列もとても遅くて、飛行機に間に合わないーと
ハラハラ。。。。。のんびりした国です～(- -;)
おかげでランチを食べ損ね、お土産に買ったメープルチョコレートで
家族全員の空腹を紛らわしました。。。。とほほ
After noon, we went to Toronto International Airport.
When we returned the car, they charged additional fee because we chose a big car.
What?
We thought that we could choose any car,
daddy asked them, and they gave us discount.
After that, we had to wait long time at
the air counter and the line of immigration.
We were almost late for our flight.......
We couldn't eat lunch, this maple chocolate that we bought as souvenir, helped our stomach.
50分ほどでLaGuadia 空港に到着
タクシーでNY city へ向かいます。
About fifty minutes later, we arrived at LaGuadia airport.
We went to NY city by Taxi.
7th Ave の Madison Square Garden 前にある
Hotel Pennsylvanian に泊ります。
There was the hotel Pennsylvania in front of Madison Square Garden.
夕食はマイアミでは食べられないおいしい日本食
そしておそらく世界一高い日本食を食べに行きました。
「炙りや錦乃介」
アメリカンフードが好きな上の子も
週に一回こんなご飯が食べたいと言っていました。
全く同感です!!
There are many Japanese restaurant in NY.
Probably, both the taste and the price will be the No.1 in the world.
We went to "Aburiya" for dinner.
Older boy who prefer American food said
he wants to eat this Japanese food once a week.
Of course! we agree with him.
お腹も満たされ、エンパイアステートビルへ歩いて行きました。
We went to Empire State building by walk.
中に入るとみんなすぐにこの前で記念撮影
夜景を見ようとたくさんの観光客が押し寄せます。
チケットを購入するための長－い列。
Many tourists queue for tickets.
そしてエレベーターに乗るために並び。。。
After you got a ticket, you have to
stand in line for the elevator.
やっと到着した86階の展望台も当然すごい人です。
Finally, we arrived the observatory at 86 floor.
Naturally, it was crowded.
でも夜景はとてもきれいでした。
You must be fascinated with the beautiful night view.
通常料金では86階までしか上れませんが
＄15追加料金を払うと102階まで上がることができます。
If you pay additional fee $15, you are able to go up to 102 floor.
NY の夜景を満喫しホテルへ地下鉄で戻りました。
色々な映画でもおなじみの駅

良く並んだ一日でした。
