今日から夏休みの家族旅行です。
去年の夏休みはイエローストーンとマウントラシュモアの大自然を満喫したので
今年は刺激のある街ニューヨークを訪れることにしました。
せっかくなので少し足を延ばしてナイアガラも 観に行くことに。。。
まず、トロントへ向かいました。
We took a family trip from today.
We went to Yellow stone and Mt. Rushmore last year and
enjoyed the beautiful of American nature,
so, this year, we decided to visit the exciting city New York.
Why don't we go to Niagara Falls since we will visit to NY?
We traveled to Toronto.
National レンタカーでボーイズが選んだのはフォードの大きめの車。
「どれでも好きな車をお選びください」と言うシステムなので
勝手に選んで乗って行くんのですが。。。。（翌日、問題発覚）
Boys chose this big size Ford at National rental car of Toronto Airport,
because they said "Any car you can pick!!"
We didn't think that would be a problem.
空港から南へＱＥＷを走って1時間半程で到着です。
道沿いにはたくさんワイナリーがありました。
アイスワインが有名だそうですが残念ながら今回立ち寄る時間はありません。

We drove to south from airport about one and half hour.
There were a lot of wineries which were famous for ice wine along the way.
Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to stop over this time.
ボーイズの第一声「もっとネイチャーにあるのかと思った。。。」
全くその通り。すっかり観光地化され人であふれかえっていました。
Boys said " I thought there was the Falls in the nature"
Exactly, the touristy place was crowded.
4時近くに到着したので、滝周辺の駐車場はどこも満杯。
ホテル Days Inn にチェックインして歩いて行きました。（5，6分）
All of the parking lots near the falls were full because we arrived around 4pm.
We checked in the hotel "Days Inn" at the Centre st, and went down to the falls by walk.
( about 5,6 min)
さっそくボートツアー"Maid of the Mist”へ
ポンチョをもらって乗船です。
This is the boat tour "Maid of the Mist"
Get the blue poncho and let's go to the waterfall basin.
こちらはアメリカ滝。
アメリカ側のツアーの人達は黄色のポンチョを着て滝にうたれていました。。。
This is American Falls.
The tourists of America side got wet under the falls.
こちらがカナダ滝。滝つぼ近くまで行くとすごい水しぶきで
滝の迫力を感じると言うより何も見えないというのが正直な感想でした。
This is Horseshoe Falls.
When you approach the waterfall basin,
you might not see anything, because a lot of spray.
ひとまず滝を堪能したのでClifton Hill へ
観覧車、ミニゴルフ、ボーリング、ゲームセンター、蝋人形館、迷路、お化け屋敷
と所狭しと並んでいます。
After we enjoyed the falls, we went to Clifton Hill.
There were so many attractions on this street.
sky wheel, mini golf, bowling, game center, wax museum, haunted house.....etc
ボーイズの希望でギネスミュージアムに入りました。
世界一背の高い人。
長生き世界一は泉重千代さん。
Boys went to Guinness world records museum,
they discovered the tallest, biggest, smallest, fastest ...etc.
He was noted for the longevity Japanese, Shigechiyo Izumi.
ディナーは Kelsy's と言う無難な感じの店に入りましたが
サービスも味も今一でした。
We chose this innocuous restaurant for dinner but
their service and taste were not good.
その後、Galaxy Golf でボーイズの大好きなミニゴルフをし
ホテルに戻りました。
Boys wanted to play putter golf at Galaxy Golf.
All of the obstacles were neon-hued.
