あっという間です! First anniversary!

全く月日の流れは速く、今日でもう8月も終わりです。

えっ!？　忘れていましたが、このブログをスタートさせてから1年が経っていました。

The passage of time is totally fast, today is the last day of August.

Oh! Lea forgot it.

One year already passed since Lea started this blog.

レアとマミィの共同制作。家族の徒然日記ではありますが

おかげさまでヒット件数も当初の倍になりました。

いつも覗きにきてくださっている方には深く御礼申し上げます。

This family diary is collaboration among Lea and mommy.

この一年、

単調な毎日を送ってきたようで、色々な事がありました。

This one year,

we seemed to spend the drudgery of daily life

but might be various.

家族の中で一番小さなレアの存在は私達にとって本当に大きい物です。

これからも家族みんな、レアに癒してもらいながら

ここでの生活を頑張っていけるのだと思います。

Lea is the smallest in our family but 

Lea is the biggest existence for us.

 From now on, all of us will be healed by Lea and

we may do our best.

今日はお天気がぱっとしないなあ～と思っていたら夕方雨が降ってきました。

どうやら夜まで止みそうにありません。

It has begun to rain before the time for a walk.

Mommy checked weather channel.....Oh No!

The rain does not seem to stop until tonight.

お散歩に行けないの～？

Lea was not able to go for a walk today....

poor Lea.

今週もダディは出張、マミィはフラのレッスンに出かけるため

簡単にお夕飯の用意をしました。

以前紹介した手抜きだけどボーイズの喜ぶロコモコです。

お散歩に行けず可哀そうなレアにもミニサイズを作ってあげました。

Daddy went to Argentina on business trip,

mommy went to Hula lesson tonight.

Mommy prepared simple dinner.

It's a Loco Moco that is boys favorite.

Mommy made a mini size Loco Moco for Lea 

because Lea was sad.

 

はいどうぞ！と言ってもいつまでも食べようとしないレア。。。はて？

Bon appetit.

？？？

Lea was not going to eat.

どうやらお皿がレアの容れ物ではないので、食べてはいけないと思ったらしい

Lea thought that she must not eat 

because the plate is not Lea's.

いつもおすそわけに使っているお皿に入れ替えてあげると

しっかりガッツリと食べました。

Mommy changed the plate to Lea's, Lea was really eating it with gusto.

食卓には必ず参加するレアですが、

みんなのお皿にあるものを勝手に食べようとしたことはありません。

少しもらうおすそ分けや、自分のお皿に用意されたものだけ

食べて良いことをちゃんと知っているのですね。

えらいぞ、レア!!

Lea always sit on the chair when we eat meals, but

she's  never tried to eat from our dishes.

Good girl!  Lea!!

緑色の道 The Green Mile

ずっと前から気になっていた映画「The Green Mile」のDVD を今日観ました。

1999年、トムハンクス主演の映画です。

舞台は１９３５年。大恐慌時代のアメリカ、

ジョージア州コールド・マウンテン刑務所の死刑囚舎房で起こる

ミラクルなストーリーです。 

Mommy watched a DVD " The Green Mile" that  interests her from before.

This is a 1999 film , staring Tom Hanks.

The story about  Death row inmates at Cold Mountain Penitentiary in 1935.

3時間を超える長編、しかも場面はほとんどが舎房内であるにも関わらず

涙が止まらないシーンもあり一気に見てしまいました。
脇を固める俳優さん達がまた良かったです。

 Though, the feature-length movie more than three hours,

and in the scene, most are Penitentiary,

There are  scenes where the tears won't stop flowing,

and watched it at one sitting.

The supporting cast is uniformly fine.

タイトルのグリーンマイルと言うのは

死刑囚が処刑される部屋まで歩く廊下の事なのですが、

いわば人が死に向かって歩いて行く最後の道です。

The green mile is the floor that criminal on death row walk to electric chair.

The floor is the color of faded limes.

So to say, this is the last way where people has to walk toward death.

自分の人生を振り返り、それを背負い、残りの時間を過ごす時、

悔やまれる思いはきっと誰にでもあるはず。

グリーンマイルは何人たりとも必ず最後に歩かなければならない道なのでしょう。

出来るだけ悔いがないよう、今を一日を大切に過ごさなければいけないと思いました。

When you look back on your life and carry it on your back and spend remaining time, 

anyone must have the regretted thought.

 The green mile is the last way that everyone must walk.

Mommy thought that we must spend now, today, carefully 

so that regret is not left

どんなに小さな幸せでも、それを当たり前と思わずに

感謝することが大切ですね!

You must not miss out small happiness,

it is important to thank it.

レアは今日も緑の芝生の上をを元気よく歩ける事が、何よりもうれしいと思っています。

 Lea thank for being able to walk on the green lawn.

これがあれば。。。Market

今日はHollywood にあるファーマーズマーケットに行きました。

小さなブースで食べ物から洋服まで色々売られています。

Lea went to Farmer's market in Hollywood.

A lot of venders are selling various things,

food, jewelry, clothes.....etc

マミィーの目的は地元でとれた野菜やフルーツ

おいしいサラミも買いました。

Mommy bought local vegetables and fruits.

She bought a delicious salami too.

レアは？

何かおいし～物？

Lea, what are you looking?

Something tasty.

甘くておいしいトウモロコシ。

"I found it! It's a yummy sweet corn."

ストロベリーをふんだんに使ったスムージーも飲みました。

Lea ordered fresh strawberry smoothie.

 

ここはペットフレンドリーなので他のわんちゃんにも遭遇。

でもレアの物は売っていませんでした。残念。

それならばと、以前行った Festival flea market mall まで足を延ばしました。

 This market is pet friendly.

But Lea didn't find anything for her.

So, we went to Festival flea market mall.

もちろんお目当てはレアのお店。

フレッシュデリのコーナーには、ダックの頭や首、ターキーの心臓など等・・・・
 

Lea headed straight to Pet shop.

They are selling deli style dog food, looks yummy, 

but mommy found duck head, duck neck, duck feet, turkey heart ....etc

Wow!

今までレアが食べていたフードが品切れになってしまったので

今日は何か良さそうな物を試しにいくつか買ってみました。

Mommy bought some small can of organic food,

because the food that Lea eats so far, is out of stock now.

そして、ずーっとレアがダディにおねだりしているのがこれ。

色々と試乗してみました。

これがあればもっと一緒にお出かけできるのに。。。。

What is Lea's real aim?

Stroller!!

Lea took a test drive one after another.

If Lea has this, Lea is able to go every time everywhere with mommy....

やっとダディも買うことに賛成してくれたかな？

Maybe, daddy agree to buy it....?
