週末の大雨をもたらした雲も吹き飛び、今日はいいお天気 。

The cloud which brought a heavy rain on the weekend

  was blown off , today is a beautiful day.

元気にお散歩へ出かけたレア

風が強いです。

The new collar is shining!!

オシャレ stylish

レアはマスターズの優勝者を見事に当てたので

今日はアベンチュラモールのキオスクで

可愛い洋服がたくさん売っているこのお店でさっそく新しい首輪を購入。

Lea guessed who is the winner of Masters.

She bought a new collar at Aventura Mall.

レアの名前と♡のチャームをつけてもらいました。

その後、Sunny Isles にある日本食「Yakko-san」へ行きました。

以前はちょっとわかりにくい場所で、お店もあまりきれいではありませんでしたが

新店舗はとてもモダンで小洒落た感じのお店になっていました。

メニューも豊富でお値段もリーズナブル、

きちんとした日本食が頂けるのでボーイズも大満足でした!

After that, family went for a dinner.

Japanese restaurant "Yakko-san" moved into new place, Sunny Isles.

It is a swanky restaurant.

There, you can enjoy meals in a stylish atmosphere, 

with different dishes to choose from, all at reasonable prices.

家に戻って早速レアに新しい首輪を見せると

喜んで身につけていました。

さすがおしゃれに敏感な女の子です!

 Lea was delighted with a new caller.

Lea is a girl who is interested in and particular about fashion.

疲れたけど one of the bands

今夜マミィはまたJupiter Island のパーティへ

ミュージシャンと一緒に出かけました。

途中サンダーストームで土砂降りになり、大渋滞。

 Mommy went to Jupiter Island with musicians this evening 

for performance of Hula at a birthday party.

On the way, the car was caught in heavy traffic due to thunderstorm.

パーティが始まる前に到着し、一安心。

バンドはすぐにセットアップし、リハーサルを兼ね演奏を開始 。。。

というよりも、彼らは常に演奏を楽しんでいるように見えます。

They could arrive before party.....

The musicians began a performance immediately...

actually, they seem to enjoy their performance.

今回、ダンサーはマミィひとりでちょっとナーバスだったのですが

ゴージャスなバースデーパーティにはフラダンサーは必要としていなかったようで 

ほとんど Ipu を叩いてバンドメンバーの様に過ごしました。

マミィはずっとライブ演奏が聴けて楽しかったけど 。。。

今週は一生懸命練習して疲れた～。

Mommy was a little nervous because the dancer was only her this time.

However, the gorgeous birthday party didn't need a poor hula dancer.

Mommy spent almost all time with musicians and she played Ipu drum.

Mommy really enjoyed their live music.....

but she was tired, because she practiced hard this week.

変更 too-much-period

今、ボーイズは一日に９０分授業を４教科勉強

半年で科目が代わり一年で８教科を勉強しています。

ところが、Broward county では来年度から

５０分授業を７教科、一年勉強する方針に変わります。

Broward County Public Schools plans to implement a seven-period schedule

 at all of its high schools in the 2012-13 school year.

High schools throughout the district will switch 

from the current four-period-a-day schedule to a seven-period daily schedule.

教師、生徒、そして保護者からも反対意見が出ていると

今朝のニュースでは伝えていました。

もちろんボーイズもいやだなーと言っていました。

As a result of the seven-period-a-day schedule, 

teachers will have to work harder, students will have fewer electives.

One parent said "Seven classes in one day, it's just too much"

Of course, boys don't want to change.

大切な時期なので

生徒たちにとってあまり好ましくない変更だと思うのですが

どうなるでしょうか。。。。

High school days is very important.

This change that is not so preferable for students......

you never know.

今日も練習 10 pieces meal

今日も学校から戻ったあとゴルフの練習に行ったボーイズ。

  Boys went to driving range today.

下の子はマキロイと同じTitleise 910ドライバーを使うようになってから

スライスも出なくなり、飛距離もアップと調子にのっています。

Younger boy use Titleist 910 driver same as Rory McIlroy.

It seemed good for him.

上の子も新しいドライバーを手に入れたので

今日はその調整です。 

Older boy got new driver too.

It's a TaylorMade Rocket ball.

レアはラクーンさんを探しに。。。今日は会えませんでした。

Lea looked for racoons......but she couldn't meet today.

 

帰りにKFCに寄りました。

１０ピースミールを買うとチョコレートケーキが付いてきます。

Lea got fried chicken on her way home.

KFC promote 10 pieces meal with free chocolate cake.

レアも食べたい!

Lea cannot wait to eat!

お世話 take care

朝、４時半にマミィの所にやってきたレア。

起床時間まであと１時間・・・・もう少し寝れるzzzzz

と気がついたら

Lea came to mommy at 4:30am.

Mommy thought she can sleep one more hour .....zzzzz

when she woke up.....Oh no!

ボーイズも自力で起きるタイプではないので熟睡中。

慌てて起こし、シャワーを浴びさせ、マミィは急いで朝食の用意。

スクールバスには間に合わないので、レアが学校まで送って行きました。

Boys never wake up by themselves.

Mommy woke them and prepared breakfast quickly.

 Boys missed school bus, Lea brought them to school.

 学校近辺は相変わらず大混雑

ポリスマンもいます。

Around school is always congestion.

行ってらっしゃい!

とボーイズを送ってレアも一安心。

"Have a nice day! Learn something!!"

 What a relief!

午後、学校から戻ったボーイズは今度はゴルフの練習へ

上の子の友達も一緒に練習です。

After school, boys went to driving range.

Older boy made a friend to practice together recently.

ボーイズのケアーが何かと忙しいレアでした!

Lea was busy to take care of boys today!

猫テスト FCAT

FCAT というフロリダ州の統一テストの週です。

今年のテストはオリジナルの問題よりも難しいのだそうですが

高校卒業のためには１０年生はテストにパスしなければならないので

上の子にとっては大切です。

It's FCAT week for students across Florida.

Students in elementary, middle and high school 

are required to take the Florida Comprehensive Achievement Tests each spring. 

This year students will take the FCAT 2.0,

 which carries a tougher standard than the original FCAT. 

A 10th grade student must pass the reading portion of the FCAT to graduate.

 

 

 

 

 

今朝のニュースでは

マクドナルドが朝食メニューを学生に無料で 提供すると言っていました。

朝食をしっかり食べないと頭が働かないですものね～

McDonald offer free breakfast menu for students this morning.

fast food, fast fuel.

高校を卒業するためにはFCAT

進学のためにはSATまたはACTというテストの受験が必要になります。

 そのため、上の子はTown center の２階にある tutoring クラスに通っています。

送り迎えはもちろんレアの仕事。

It is necessary to pass the FCAT to graduate 

and to get good score of the SAT or ACT to go to college.

Older boy is attending tutoring class in the second floor of Town Center.

待っている間

なぜかYogurtland を見つめて座っていたレア。

While Lea was waiting  for older boy, 

she was sitting toward Yogurtland.

上の子が出てくるとしっかりお迎えしました。
