忙しいけど。 good work!

今回ミツワで行われているフェアーの目玉はなんといってもたこ焼き

毎日長蛇の列が絶えることが無いそう。

そして、今日は下の子がここにお手伝いに入り、忙しく働いていました。

Japanese Grummet Fair, 

the Tako-Yaki shop has customers lined up around the kitchen every day, all day.

Younger boy helped it today.

1日の終わりは焼き台のお掃除。

これも一生懸命やっていました。

After close the shop, he had been cleaning the stove.

Good job!

今日は上の子とシフト時間が違ったので

レアとお泊まり中のルナちゃんがお迎えに行きました。

お疲れ様。

His time shift was different from older boy today,

Lea went to pick his up with Luna.

グルメフェアー gourmet fair

今日から日系スーパーで始まったグルメフェアー

初日なのでとてもたくさんの人が詰めかけました。

Japanese gourmet fair started at Mitsuwa from today.

Because today was first day, a lot of people packed the store.

そして、ボーイズ二人も夏休みなので

２週間ほどのこのフェアーのお手伝いをすることに。

初日から時間延長。。。。頑張ってね〜

Boys got part time job at there for about two weeks.

They already did extra work.......　Hard work!

組みたてて new computer｀

下の子は高校卒業のお祝いに

各パーツを選んで自分で組み立てるコンピューターを買ってもらいました。

今日、そのパーツが届いたので、上の子に助けてもらいながら

組みたてていました。

Younger boy graduates high school this Thursday.

He got a new computer as a graduation present.

Today, all parts were delivered,

he got older boy's help and assembled them.

いろんなパーツがあります。

コンピューターの中身。すごい！

There are a lot of parts.

レアも組み立てに参加？しました。

Lea helped them.

蜂 stung by bee

先日レアのお散歩から戻った夕方

ポストを開けて中の郵便物を取ろうとした瞬間

マミィはポストの中にいた蜂に刺されてしまいました。

A few days ago,

mommy got stung by bee when she opened the mail box.

下の子が運転をして、近くの病院へ連れて行ってくれましたが

針も残っていなかったし、特にアレルギー反応も出ていなかったので

お薬も出されず。。。。

帰りにSafeway でAfter Biteという薬を買いました。

匂いはまさに日本のキンカン。

Younger boy drove and brought mommy to hospital.

Mommy had few symptoms, and was not prescribed any medicine.

She went to Safeway and bought this.

今日、ダディがチェックしたら、

ポストの中に蜂の巣があったそう。

びっくり

Today, daddy checked the mailbox,

he found this beehive.

皆さんも気をつけてくださいね。

トイレットボール change!

家のトイレットボールが古いため、いくらお掃除してもきれいにならず

いつも汚れているみたいで、とても嫌でした。

そこで、今日DIYダディーが交換に挑戦！

The toilet bowls are so old and dirty.

Even if mommy clean it, it doesn't become clean.....

Today daddy tried changing them.

最初に付け替えようと思ったトイレはドアが内開き

ニュートイレのサイズが大きくてドアが閉まらない！

というハプニングが。。。

New one was too big for the first place.

The in-swinging door didn't close.....

別の場所に設置し、他のタイプを購入。

レアも取り説を読んで？お手伝中。

Daddy put it in another place, and bought other type.

Lea read instruction and helped for daddy.

家中のトイレ交換が無事に終了。

日本のようにウォシュレットという訳にはいきませんが

これからは気持ちよくお掃除も出来ます。

トイレを使わないレアにはあまり関係がないんですけどね。。。

Daddy changed all three place.

Mommy can clean it comfortably from now on.

That is no concern of Lea, though.

機械色々 machine!

先日ダディが風邪気味だった時、夜使ったこの加湿器。

薬を入れて呼吸を楽にする物なんですが。。。

The other day, daddy caught a cold, and he didn't sleep well.

He bought this.

その日の夜ももちろん同じ部屋で寝ていたレア

身体が小さいので、部屋中に充満していた薬に影響され

とてもひどい下痢に。。。。

At that night, Lea slept with mommy and daddy as usual.

Because Lea is small, she affected by the medicine, and

produced severe diarrhea.

で、カーペットが汚れてしまったので

今日、ホームセンターからこの機械を借りてディープクリーニングをしました。

A carpet has become dirty.

Daddy borrowed this cleaner in HomeDepot today.

お水と洗剤を入れて、あとは掃除機と同じ要領です。

The operation is easy.

もちろんカーペットは湿ってしまうので

あとは換気を良くして乾かします。

業者に頼んだら＄１００以上はするのかな？

今回４時間レンタルして＄２５程でした。

きれいになってよかった！

 Afterwords, just waiting to dry it.....that's it! easy!

The cost was $25/4hours.

最近仕事の掛け持ちで、バタバタしているマミィですが

Mommy has multiple jobs recently,

and is quite busy.

移動中にふと見えたこんな景色とか

However

mommy found such a scenery in the car on the road....

生徒が手作りのカップケーキをくれたり

心は和みます。

One of her student gave her homemade cupcake.

it makes her feel at ease.

何より、家でマミィの帰りを待ち、

常にそばにいてくれるレアは格別

Most of all

　always Lea stays with me

４台目の車 the car No.4

ついに、下の子も車を手に入れる日がやって来ました。

The day when younger boy get his own car,

came over at last.

まだまだ、心配ではありますが。。。。

The worry continue still more.....

車社会のアメリカで生活するためには必需品。

いつまでもレアが送り迎え、という訳にもいかないですから。

It's motorized society.

The car is basic needs.

安全運転でね。

Drive safely.

バースデーソング birthday song.

アニメに影響されてピアノを始める！

と言った下の子ですが、結局ほとんど練習せず。。。。

Younger boy is influenced by Japanese anime,

and started piano.....

but he didn't practice a lot.

それでも今日、マミィのために弾いてくれました。

レアも一緒にね！

 Even so, he played birthday song for mommy today.

with Lea.

空に浮かんだのは huge!

上の子とドライブしていた時

フリーウェイに怪獣が。。。。と思うような雲発見

While older boy and mommy was driving,

mommy found Godzilla approached to freeway!!

昨年からダディが挑戦しているガレージの日曜大工

今日仕上げのペンキ塗りにとりかかりました。

The garage project of daddy is nearing end.

He finished paint today.

上の子もお手伝い。

Older boy helped daddy.

そしてレアも。。。。？

Lea too....?

ストローラーにのって総監督です。

Lea seems to be a supervisor.

ピアノ piano

レアの家にピアノが来ました。

レアがついにピアノをひき始める。。。訳はなく

This piano came to Lea's house today.
Finally, Lea starts playing a piano......?
No way!

下の子がピアノをやってみたいと。。。でも

いつまでその気持ちが続くか定かでないので

しばらくレンタルをする事になりました。

Younger boy wants to practice, and rentals this piano.

最近大好きな日本のアニメーションの曲が

弾けるようになりたいのだそうです。

楽器は練習あるのみ。頑張ってくださいね〜〜

This is his goal!

初アルバイト first job

今週末日系スーパーに大判焼きのお店が出店しています。

そのお手伝いとして、上の子が始めてのアルバイトに挑戦です。

Japanese sweets kiosk opens at Mitsuwa temporarily in this weekend.

Older boy got a part time job there.

という訳で、お土産に大判焼きを持って帰って来ました。

全種類だって。。。。すごい！

Older boy brought them to Lea today.

早速レアもご相伴に。。。

Lea got a piece of them.

ペロッだけね。

"I want one bite at least....."
