初めてのお留守番？ Vocaloid concert

週末上の子のVocaloid のコンサートのため土曜日LAに向かいました。

でも下の子は興味がないからと一人で留守番を希望。

そこで、初めてレアと二人でお留守番です。

The family went to LA for Vocaloid concert that older boy attends.

However, younger boy is not interested and he wants to stay home with Lea.

日曜日のお昼、コンサート会場はダウンタウンのノキアシアター

少し早めに来たにも関わらず、すでにたくさんの人が並んでいます。

そして、コスプレしている人も多数。

The consort venue is Nokia Theater.

Many people have already lined up.

ダディとマミィは日本村プラザやカフェに行って時間つぶしです。

Daddy & mommy went to Japanese village plaza and Urth caffe to fill up the time.

上の子はコンサートとその後のイベントを満喫

Older boy fully enjoyed the concert and event.

お留守番中のレアは今回のシチュエーションにちょっと腹を立て

こんな行動に。。。。小さな反乱。

Lea is unconvinced this situation...... 

......such a rebellious attitude.

アニメエクスポ AX, LA downtown

今回のLA旅行の目的はこれ。

This time's target is Anime Expo!!

すでにチケットはオンラインで購入していったのですが

何とそれを入場パスに交換するための列が延々と続き

Boys already purchased tickets online, but

they had to change it to entrance pass, and it's line was soooooo long.

入場出来たのは２時間後。。。。。

After two hours, they was able to enter the site, FINALLY.

と今回ボーイズにつきあったのはダディ

マミィはお友達に久しぶりに会い、日本でも話題のUrth Cafe  で近況報告

お誕生日だったので、手作りポーチをプレゼント。

While daddy went to there with boys,

mommy met her friend at Urth cafe.

Mommy present handcrafted porch as birthday present.

その後、ファッションディストリクトへ行って

ハワイアンプリントの布地を発見し購入

なんだか香港の深水埗を思わせる場所でテンションが上がりましたが

とにかくすごい人でした。

Mommy went to fashion district and found Hawaiian fabric.

This place looks like Hong Kong.

There were so many people on the street.

アニメエクスポの方ももちろんすごい人出

そしてボーイズのテンションも上がり

好きなアニメのフィギュアーやポスターを購入

At Anime expo, there were tons of venders, 

boys got a action figure, poster and CD.

マミィは近くのダイナー創業９０年の映画に出てきそうなお店で待機

お友達と分かれて、ボーイズ達と合流

Mommy waited boys at The original Pantry.

その後は今回のもう一つの目的

After that, the family went to another target of this trip.

LAは日本食も豊富なので

 サンノゼには無いトンカツ屋さんに夕飯を食べにいきました。

おいしかった！

The family went for a dinner to Tonkatsu Kagura.

Yum!

レアはこの遊びがお気に入りになったらしく

おねだりしていたらしい。

Lea likes riding chair.

久しぶりのお泊まり long-awaited sleepover

今日は独立記念日です。

レアも張り切ってこんな格好をしてみました。

Happy 4th of July!

と、張り切ったレアですが、３連休のためお留守番です。。。。

Lea, you have a sleepover at Luna's house!!

家族はLAへ

上の子がしっかり運転をしてくれました。

The family headed down to the south.

Older boy drove this time.

道中かなり頻繁に擦れ違ったこのトラック

大量のトマトを積んでいました。

Mommy found this truck often on the route.

Do you know what the truck load?........tomatoes!

花火を期待して行ったのですが、閉園が８pm

まだ明るいので花火は無く

Bubba Gamp で夕飯を食べてホテルに戻りました。

今回のLAは明日がメインですから。。。

The family intended to watch fireworks at Universal studio, but

the park closed at 8pm, still sunny.......no fireworks.

They went for a dinner to Bubba Gump, and checked in the hotel.

No problem!

The main event of this trip is tomorrow.

お泊まり中のレアは

楽しそうに遊んでもらっているらしい

Lea seems to enjoy sleepover.

おおみそか new year's eve

と、いうレアの声が聞こえて来たので

"Come home early~~~~!!"

The family heard Lea's heart crying.

Universal Studio に朝一番で入り

トランスフォーマー、マミィー、シンプソンズ

そしてスタジオツアーを見てすぐに帰路につきました。

They entered at opening time of Universal Studio, 

rode a few attractions, and returned home.

今日はニューイヤーズイブ

家族でカウントダウンしなくっちゃね！

Well, today is new year's eve.

must count down with family!

笑顔にさせる魔法 It's a magic!

やっぱりディズニーに行きたい！とダディに無理を言って急遽LAへ

明け方出発。途中見えた朝焼けがきれい。

Not have any choice, the family went to Disney land!!

The morning glow was beautiful.

途中マミィのスピード違反もありましたが。。どうにか１０時半頃到着。

しかし、すぐに向かったカーズのファストパスは既になくスタンバイも180分待ち。。。

年パスホルダーも入れない日程なので混雑は予想通り。

でも長い列に並んでいるにも関わらず、大人も子供もみんな笑顔

すごなあ〜、これがDisney Magic ！

On the way, mommy got a ticket :( 

but they arrived Disney land around 10:30am.

Fast pass of Cars has already gone, the stand-by line was 180 minutes !!

Each attraction has long line, however people stood in the crazy long line with smile.

It's a magic, the magic of Disney land!!

Haunted Mansion のThe Nightmare before Christmas バージョンとても良かった。

You can meet Jack at Haunted Mansion now,

it's very good.

どこもすごい列なのに、プーさんは１０分待ち。

HKDL, TDL,WDWとたくさん遊びに行ったボーイズもすっかり大きくなったなあ

It's very short line, only 10 minutes.

This shadow tell the growing of boys.

Aladdinのミュージカル、コンパクトに上手くまとまっていて

改めてDisney movie の上手さを認識。

The musical let us recognize good of Disney movie.

今回は残念ながらカーズには乗れませんでしたが

クリスマスデコレーションがとってもきれいで

Disney ワールドを満喫しました。

Boys were not able to rode Radiator Springs Racer, but

the enjoyed these beautiful illumination and the world of Disney.

レアは置いてけぼりにされた事にとても腹を立てて

初日はご機嫌ななめだったそうです。。。。が

Lea was mad at leaving behind and was in an ugly mood.

大好きなチュルチュルを見て機嫌がなおったらしい。。

すごいね〜チュルチュルマジック！！

However, she ate noodle and changed her feeling.

It's a magic, the magic of noodle !!

お手伝い charity hula

今朝、早くからロサンジェルスに向け出発

UCLA 校内にある日本庭園のボランティアをしている友人に頼まれ

マミィはチャリティーフラを行いました。

司会はプロのトニーさん

The family went to LA early this morning,

because mommy helped charity hula show at VA Japanese garden

where mommy's friend volunteers.

with MC Tony.

募金を集めるためにマミィが用意した景品のアロハ楊枝

これからも定期的に行いたいそうですが、

ちょっと遠いのでマミィがお手伝いするのはちょっと難しいかな？

Mommy made giveaway for collecting donation.

The volunteers are going to held some show on a regular basis from now on.

However, mommy is not able to help it every time,

because this place is not near her.

ルナちゃん所にお停まりしているレアはかなりくつろげるようになったようです。

Lea became to be able to relax at Luna's house.

学校見学と② visiting UC 2

今日、学校見学のついでに寄ったのはこちら

They used this opportunity,

Lea went to Universal Studio Hollywood!

レアは大はしゃぎでゲートに向かいましたが

行き先は。。。。。犬寝る?。。。ケンネル？

Lea was so happy.....but the destination was kennel.　

O-OH  :(

遊んだのは午前中の数時間でしたが

スパイダーマンをリニューアルしたトランスフォーマー

面白い！

The family rode some attractions for a few hours.

Trans Formers 3D ride......awesome!

better than Spiderman.

スタジオツアーは実際に映画やTVで使われた物を見る事が出来

何よりガイドのAndrew がとても面白い！

フロリダのツアーよりずっと面白かった！

マミィは明日、日本へ行く事になったので、午後の予定を済ませた後

一晩繰り上げて、急遽家に戻りました。

今回見そこねてしまった学校はまた後日。

お疲れさまでした。

After the schedule of the afternoon,

the family canceled hotel and returned to home, 

due to mommy having the necessity of an unforeseen trip to Japan.
