ルナちゃんが帰ってしまってちょっとつまらないらしい。。。。

After Luna returns to her home, 

Lea seems to be non-eventful.

It was the first time to eat "monjya" for the family.

delicious!!

いろいろできた。 organic!

今年は梅の実があまり良くなりませんでした。

それでも梅シロップになったり、ジャムになったり。

Plum tree didn't have a lot of fruits this year,

but it made plum syrup and plum jam.

菜園では、大根が成長したので

今日はボーイズのアルバイト先のさつま揚げと一緒に煮て食べました。

Japanese radish was grown at garden.

Mommy cooked it with fish cake of the shop that boys are working.

かぼちゃの生育が一番すごい。

Pumpkin grows up very much.

オクラも形になってきた。

This is okura and the flower.

いつも見回りしているレアは嬉しい。

Lea that is garden keeper, looks very happy.

新メニュー broth bowl

今日はブレックファーストに

レアの大好きなPanera をテイクアウトしてきました。

Today's breakfast is takeout of Panera bread.

チャレンジャーの下の子が頼んだのは、新メニューのそば。

Younger boy chose new menu.

もちろんチュルチュルラバーのレアは興味深々

Because Lea is noodle lover, 

she tried it too.

もちろん日本のそばとは全く別物ですが

それなりにおいしかったです。

Of course this is not Japanese style soba,

but it's acceptable.

春休みの一日 spring break

すっかりボサボサヘアーになったレアをヘアーカットに連れて行きました。

Lea went to haircut today.

今週は下の子が春休みで家にいるので、

レアをペットショップにつれて行ったあと珍しく二人でランチ。

その後行ったスーパーで低温殺菌されている卵を見つけたので買いました。

Younger boy stay home this week, because of spring break.

After mommy dropped Lea at pet shop,

mommy and younger boy went for a lunch.

After that, they went to grocery store and found pasteurized egg.

こちらはいかにもアメリカらしい、カラフルなアイスキャンディー

身体に悪そうです。。。。

This rainbow color ice candies is very American!

but, looks unhealthy.

ヘアーカットが終わったレアはすっきり。

ますます、可愛くなりました。

When mommy picked Lea up,

she became so cute.

でも、レアは一緒にランチやショッピングに行けなかったのが

不満だったらしい。。。。

However, Lea seemed to be not satisfied,

she wanted to go for a lunch with mommy....

話題のコーヒー hot place in Japan

何でもある日本。新し物好きな日本。

最近、ブルーボトルコーヒーもオープンしたって話ですが

こちらでは普通のスーパーにこんな物も売っています。

Blue bottle coffee seemed to open in Japan recently.

In California, you can buy a package of coffee in grocery store.

思いっきりオーガニックにはこだわっています。

Organic, organic, organic....

でも紙パックだし、他のアイスコーヒーと味に大きな違いは無いような。。。

However, this is just coffee in package,

there is not much difference with other competitors.

実演販売 part time job

日本食スーパーで１０日間ほどフェアーがあるので

そのお手伝いにボーイズが参戦する事になりました。

まずスタートの週末は上の子

コロッケの実演販売のお手伝いです。

Mitsuwa holds a fair for about ten days.

Boys get a part time job at there.

At first, older boy started his job this weekend.

帰りにコロッケを２つもらったのだそうですが

お腹がすいて一個は食べちゃったんだって

He got two croquettes after work,

and he ate one of them because he was very hungry.

それも高級キングクラブ入りコロッケ、一個＄６

It was a king crab croquette, $6.......expensive.

で、レアにはコーンコロッケのお土産、一個＄２

コーンが甘くて美味しい

So, Lea got another one, corn croquette, $2, automatically.

The corn was sweet and yummy!

全部で１０種類あって値段が違うのでちゃちゃっと暗算が必要。

それを聞いて、来週行く事になっている下の子が

最近数学やってないと心配し

レアは１０種類制覇出来るかと心配していました。

There are ten kinds croquette, and prices are different.

He needs to tally in his head.......

younger boy who are going to get into this work next week,

was worried about his calculation.

Lea was worried about that

whether she is able to eat all kind......

When mommy was going to wash a dish,

there was this smiling face :)

今日はナショナルフローズンヨーグルトデイなので

Yogurtland は夕方４時から７時までなんと無料。

カップの大きさは決まっていたのですが、量り売りのお店だから

みんな山もりいっぱい好きなフローズンヨーグルトを入れていました。

レアもゲットしてスマイル〜

買って来ました。

Mommy found this Japanese brand snack at Cost-co.

なにげにレアに「ポッキー買って来たよ〜」って言ったら

Mommy said simply" I bought Pocky."

なんかすごく好きらしい。。。。

Lea seems to likes it .....

でもチョコポッキーなので

This is a chocolate.....

レアが食べられるのはここだけ。

Of course, Lea is able to eat a piece ...

でも、よほど好きなようで

Lea really likes it.

一袋食べてしまいました。

Lea ate all.....

空き袋と箱を念入りにチェックし

Lea checked the empty box to the nines.

やっと納得した。。。。

Finally, Lea accepted it.

珍しい？ Jollibee

今日はJollibeeというフィリピン系のファストフードへ行きました。

このキャラクターが目印のお店。

The family went to Filipino fast food restaurant "Jollibee "

マミィはHalo-Haloを注文。

正体が分からず注文したのですが、かき氷でした。

Mommy ordered Halo-Halo, but

she didn't know what this is...... it's shave ice.

隣に併設されているベーカリーで懐かしのエンパニャーダを発見し

ビーフとチキンをいただきました。

久しぶりに食べて美味しかった！

Next door is Red ribbon bakery,

boys found empanada what they had eaten it well as snack in Florida.

Yum!

今日は一緒に行けなかったレアは

もらった紙をビリビリ破いて遊んでいました。

Lea was not able to go with family today.

She was playing with a paper.

お土産はクリスピークリームのドーナツ

ホリデーバージョンです。
