バースデーケーキ 19th birthday

今日は上の子の１９歳の誕生日です。

夕飯は彼の大好きなヒレカツと茶碗蒸し。

でもケーキは作れず、パリスバゲットで購入して来ました。

Today is a birthday of older boy.

Mommy prepared his favorite dinner,

but was not bake a cake and bought it.

レアもいつも通りまるで主役のように参加です。

Lea always participates like a main person.

でもレアのじゃないの

However, it's not for you.

と言われて、暴れたら鼻の頭にクリームが

accidentally, Lea put cream on her nose....

一口ね〜

１７歳！ 17th birthday

今日は下の子の１７歳の誕生日です。

ティーンエイジャーというお年頃か、特にエクサイトする事もなく

ディナーは久しぶりにチーズケーキファクトリーへ行きました。

Today is younger boys 17th birthday.

As you know, he is a teenager, he isn't excited any more.

The family went to Cheesecake Factory for a dinner.

ディナーには参加出来なかったレアですが

家でケーキを一緒に食べてお祝いです。

Lea didn't join the dinner but joined birthday cake time!

アニメエクスポ AX, LA downtown

今回のLA旅行の目的はこれ。

This time's target is Anime Expo!!

すでにチケットはオンラインで購入していったのですが

何とそれを入場パスに交換するための列が延々と続き

Boys already purchased tickets online, but

they had to change it to entrance pass, and it's line was soooooo long.

入場出来たのは２時間後。。。。。

After two hours, they was able to enter the site, FINALLY.

と今回ボーイズにつきあったのはダディ

マミィはお友達に久しぶりに会い、日本でも話題のUrth Cafe  で近況報告

お誕生日だったので、手作りポーチをプレゼント。

While daddy went to there with boys,

mommy met her friend at Urth cafe.

Mommy present handcrafted porch as birthday present.

その後、ファッションディストリクトへ行って

ハワイアンプリントの布地を発見し購入

なんだか香港の深水埗を思わせる場所でテンションが上がりましたが

とにかくすごい人でした。

Mommy went to fashion district and found Hawaiian fabric.

This place looks like Hong Kong.

There were so many people on the street.

アニメエクスポの方ももちろんすごい人出

そしてボーイズのテンションも上がり

好きなアニメのフィギュアーやポスターを購入

At Anime expo, there were tons of venders, 

boys got a action figure, poster and CD.

マミィは近くのダイナー創業９０年の映画に出てきそうなお店で待機

お友達と分かれて、ボーイズ達と合流

Mommy waited boys at The original Pantry.

その後は今回のもう一つの目的

After that, the family went to another target of this trip.

LAは日本食も豊富なので

 サンノゼには無いトンカツ屋さんに夕飯を食べにいきました。

おいしかった！

The family went for a dinner to Tonkatsu Kagura.

Yum!

レアはこの遊びがお気に入りになったらしく

おねだりしていたらしい。

準備 graduation lei

今週の木曜日は上の子の卒業式です。

アメリカは、高校までが義務教育で

日本のように小中学校の卒業式は基本的にはないので

高校の卒業式は家族や親戚にとっても一大イベント。

Thursday is radiation day of older boy.

The graduation ceremony of the high school is a big event 

for not only the student but also the family.

残念ながら、親戚はこの地にいないので、

家族だけの参加ではありますが、マミィは卒業式のためにレイを作りました。

Mommy prepared graduation lei for him.

６メーター程のリボンを編んでいたら。。。。

She was waving 6m ribbon....

やっぱりこのように。

敷いてるという感覚もないと思うんですがね。。。。

Lea sat on the ribbon.

Lea likes to sit on something, but does she feel that?

ずーっとマミィのiPhon のカメラの調子が悪く

写真が上手くとれず、ブログの更新も今ひとつ。。。

Mommy's iphone isn't working right......

she cannot take a photo and update this blog.

ついに全く動かなくなったので、新しくiPhone 5 Cを買ってもらいました。

Finally, the camera does not work, she got a new iPhone.

すぐにボーイズが「Happy Birthday! 」と可愛いケースをくれました。

Boys prepared a beautiful case as her birthday present,

it makes mommy happy.

日本からは春らしい和菓子がマミィのお姉さんから届き

Mommy's sister sent Japanese sweet cakes from Japan.

出張から戻ったダディからは

マミィの大好きなハワイアンジュエリーをもらいました。

感謝！

Daddy who made a return business trip, presented Hawaiian jewelry.

スーパーボール 48th Super Bowl

第４８回NFL スーパーボールがニュージャージーのMetLife スタジアムで行われました。

言わずと知れたアメリカ中が熱狂する試合。

レアの家もピザなど準備をして試合観戦です。

The XLVIII NFL Super Bowl was held at MetLife Stadium, New Jersey.

As you know, it is the biggest game that American is excited at.

Mommy prepared Pizza, Rib, and chips....etc

Lea saw the game in front of the TV with the family.

ゲームと同じく楽しみなハーフタイムショー

今年はハワイ出身のBruno Marsでした。

Bruno Mars performed during the game halftime show.

試合の結果は４３対８でシーホークスがブロンコスを破り王者となりました。

かろうじてワントライしたブロンコスでしたが、

若きシーホークスが圧倒的に強かった。

The final score was Seahawks 43, Broncos 8.

Broncos got only one try......

the youngest team Seahawks was overwhelming strong.

王者を決める試合としてはちょっと面白くなかったかな？？

As the game that decide a monarch,

it was not exciting......?

スパーボールと言えばCMも楽しみなのに

今年はそれも今ひとつ。。。。

唯一このBudweiser のCMが可愛かった！

Also, CM was not good this year......

Only this Budweiser's commercial was so cute!

Grammy Award

昨晩、ロサンゼルスのステイプルズ・センターで第56回グラミー賞授賞式があり、

ダフト・パンクが最優秀アルバム賞と最優秀レコード賞を含む5部門を受賞しました。

The 56th Grammy award was held at Staples center in LA last night.
Daft Punk got 5 Grammys include Album of the year and Record of the year.

授賞式ではGet Luckyを披露しスティービーワンダーも共演。

Duft Punk performed Get Luck with Stevie Wonder.

ダフトパンクは上の子が大好きで去年、四六時中聞いていました。

だからレアもおなじみ

Older boy has been listening their music day and night,
so Lea really knows it.

ダフトパンクが好きで興味を持った映画「インターステラ5555」

上の子はこの映画で初めて松本零士を知りました。。。。

He recognized Reiji Matsumoto by a movie "Interstella 5555" for the first time.

この映画で最初に演奏されているのが、「One more time」

日本でもCMにも使われ大ヒットした曲ですが

レアもだーい好き！.....ってちょっと違うかな？

The first music of this movie "One more time" was big hit in Japan too
and Lea likes it.......different a little???
