チャリティー for charity sale

東日本大震災からもうすぐ丸４年が経ちます。
未だに避難生活を強いられている方が２３万人以上いらっしゃるそうです。
明日、レアの家の近くでで復興支援チャリティーセールが行われる事を知り、
マミィは少しだけ時間のあるときに小物を作りました。

Full four years pass from the Great East Japan Earthquake soon.
The people who are still forced to life
as an evacuee seems to be more than 230,000 people.
 A reconstruction aid charity sale is carried out near Lea's house tomorrow.
Mommy made small products for the sale.

被災地には行き先の無くなってしまったワンちゃんたちも多く
その支援物資をアマゾンの欲しい物リストから
送っているという活動をしている人もいます。
レアも微力ながらお手伝いしました。

There are still many dogs and cats that they lost their oner and house.
Lea helped what she can.

この一カ月フラの仲間と続けてきた日本復興支援のためのリボンレイ販売。

今週末、ブース販売をする予定でしたがこれは急遽キャンセルになりました。残念!

This one month, mommy has continued selling ribbon leis 

with Hula friends for Japan relief efforts.
Mommy had a chance to sell at Polynesia Festival on this weekend,
but it was canceled suddenly....
This is a choker and ring of Plumeria flower that mommy made for next sale,

is this for Lea?

今月末にはメンバーの移動もあり

とりあえず続けてきた活動を一回締めることに。

本日メンバー最後の会合で収益の発表です!

なんと合計＄１００３

わずかな期間しかも個人的な活動でこれだけ集めることができたのは

本当にみんなの協力以外何物でもありません。

みんな良く頑張りました。お疲れ様でした。

そして、協力してくれたそれぞれの家族にも感謝です。

Once mommy finished our activity,

because two Hula friends move from Florida the end of this month.

Today, we had a last meeting and mommy reported the proceeds.

Total is $1003!!

What we were able to collect many money by personal activity,
during only one month, it is not anything else other than the cooperation of all.

Thank you! We did our best!!

And it is thanks for each family who helped.

マミィはこれからも機会を見つけて、
少しずつ販売を続けていこうと思っています。

次回は7月にHoike Hawaii へ参加予定です。

Mommy is going to make and sell ribbon lei and, collect money for Japan.

Next opportunity is  Hoike Hawaii on July.

知ってる! Shaggy

ここ一カ月ほど、ひたすらリボンレイを作っているマミィ。

レアが何か言いに来た時も、すぐに手が離せないことがあります。

This one month, mommy is making various ribbon lei .

When Lea came to mommy, she can't stop what she is doing soon.

そんな時 「ちょっと待って。」と言うので

レアはすっかりこの言葉を覚えました。

いわれると、若干ふてくされ気味ではありますが。。。。

"just a sec!" 

Lea remembers this word, 

and she is waiting with a little sulky face until mommy is finish,

今日はスリッパ作りに集中したマミィ。

いろんなカラーで作りました。

Mommy made colorful slippers.

レアはクロシェット部分に興味があるようです。

”何このモジャモジャ？”

Lea is interested in the crocheted thong.
What is this shaggy thing?"

君ももかなりモジャモジャだと思うけど。。。。
"知ってる!"

Lea, you are shaggy too....

"I know!!"

火がついた!! It ignited !!

 リボンの切り端を処理するためにライターを使っていたら

レアが興味を示してきました。

Mommy uses a lighter for treating the edge of ribbon,
Lea came to watch it.

 チャリティーショーの後

口込にも関わらず、かなりの勢いでリボンレイが売れ続けています。

マミィはひたすら作り続け、その間新作も色々と作っています。

After charity show, a lot of ribbon lei have been sold
because the members of Hula ask their friend to buy it.
Mommy keeps making ribbon lei entirely, and makes new style, too.

先日、“母の日向けというのは？”という声から考えたバラの指輪。

車社会のアメリカでは、子供だけで買い物に行けず

ママにサプライズでプレゼントの用意は難しいので

学校で購入出来たら良いと。。。

来週の販売に向けて準備中です。

Mommy got a good idea that we prepare something as mother's day gift,
and she made the ring with rose.

ショーの前にお手伝いしてくれた妊婦さんのブレスレットは

とても色が淡くて可愛かったのですが、

ラテンアメリカーノには今一つ反応が悪く、

小さなお花をプラスしてみたところこれが大正解で

新たに作り足すことに。。。。

Two pregnant ladies helped us to make bracelet before charity show.
It is so cute and very delicate color.
However, Latino didn't prefer like this.
Mommy put small flowers on these bracelet, many girls really like it and bought it.
Mommy has to make it more......

クロシェットレイのシュシュも、女の子に大人気だそうです。

レアもポーニーテール???　

This crochet lei scrunchy is very liked by girls.
Lea put up in a ponytail.

男の子たちにもブレスレット人気に火が付き

品薄状態が続いています。。。。

さて、がんばって作っていきま～す。

The popularity of bracelet  ignited between boys.
It continue to be in short supply recently......

完成度 completeness

今日ダディはゴルフに出かけ、レアのブランチもなし。

マミィは相変わらずリボンレイの制作をし、新作も完成しました。

No brunch today....because daddy went to play golf .

Mommy keep making ribbon lei, and finished new style.

活動の輪が広がってきたので「Aloha Ribbon Lei Project」という名前を付け
多くの人の協力を呼び掛けていくことにもなりました。

Our action spread, and "Aloha Ribbon Lei Project" started now.
We call for the cooperation of many people.

新作のドーナツストラップに関心を持ったレア。

なぜか食べられると思ったらしい。。。

完成度が高かったのかな？

下の子は１３歳。先月歯列矯正を始めた時

一つ気になっていたのが、しつこく残っていた一本の乳歯。

歯医者では抜く必要はないとそのままだったのですが

ぐらぐら歴数ヶ月、ついに抜けてすっきりスマイル。

Younger boy is 13years old now.

When he started to put his braces on, he still has a baby tooth that looks looseness.

The other day, the tooth was taken off, finally!!

Nice smile!

レアもついでにニン！！

今日はフラメンバーにシュシュの作り方を伝え

来月のブース販売に向けて、またそれぞれ制作をしていきます。

Mommy taught how to make a scrunchy to the member of Hula.

We are preparing and still make ribbon lei for Polynesian festival. 

グログランリボンで作ったものは、レアの首輪にピッタリ。

愛犬家は多いので喜ばれるかも。。。ということで

いくつか用意することに決定です。

The ribbon lei that was made from grosgrain ribbon, fitted Lea's neck as collar.

We decided to make some dog's collar.

マミィもイリマのレイが完成しました。

次はピカケのレイにしようかな？

Mommy finished a long ribbon lei " Ilima flower lei".
