久しぶりのブランチ brunch!

ボーイズは二人ともアルバイトで大忙しの週末。

お泊りに来ているルナちゃんと一緒に

レアの大好きなパネラに来ました。

Boys are super busy this weekend.

Lea went to her favorite cafe "Panera" with Luna.

２週間ぶりに家に戻ったダディーにおねだりのレア。

Lea asked daddy who came home after an interval of two weeks, for sharing panini.

嬉しい〜

ずっとダディが出張でいないので

レアはダディの代わりに庭の見回り。

Lea patrolled the backyard as substitute for daddy

who is on business trip.

今年もカラーとジャーマンアイリスがたくさん咲いています。

There are a lot of Calla lily and German iris bloom.

週末ドームから戻ってくる上の子のリクエストで

今日は焼き鳥屋さんに行きました。

やっぱり焼き鳥はおいしい〜

でも、全部食べ終わっても手羽先がいつまでも出てこない。。。

「まだですか？」と聞いたら、「今来ますから」と言うだけで

お待たせして。。。とか決して言いません。

日本食屋で日本人のウェイトレスでもやっぱり日本じゃないです。^^;

Older boy who get hungry for Japanese food

requested to go to Yakitori restaurant "GAKU"

Yakitori is delicious!! but

the family has to wait one dish for a while.....it's not dessert! 

Mommy asked waitress "please check it"

but she just said "coming now", didn't say "thank you for waiting"

At Japanese restaurant, waitress is Japanese,

but here is not JAPAN.

残念ながらお留守番のレアは、もちろんお土産をいただきました。

Unfortunately Lea was not able to go,

but got delicious Yakitori!

今日はランチにArmadillo Willy's BBQへ行きました。

Lea went to Armadillo Willy's for a lunch.

お天気もよく、外席でも気持ちがいいです。

レアはPulled Pork のお裾分けをもらい大満足！

Nice weather, feeling good at outside table.

Lea got some meat, and was so happy!

そして夕方はボーイズ達のゴルフにつきあってコースを歩きました。
楽しかった！！

Lea went for a walk at golf course with boys in the evening.
It's a great day!!

２１回目 fancy restaurant

今日はダディとマミィの結婚記念日だったので

山の上のフレンチレストランへ行きました。

Today is the 21st wedding anniversary!

The family celebrated at fancy french restaurant.

元はホテルだったという雰囲気のあるレストラン

美味しいお食事をいただきました。

普通です。 bother to go?

今日はランチに上の子が以前から行きたいと言っていた

ファストフードSONIC drive- inへ行きました。

Older boy had always wanted to go to SONIC drive in,

and he and mommy went to there today.

ハンバーガーショップなのですが、

ドライブスルーとこのオーダープレイスのみで、店舗の中の客席はありません。

そして、ここでオーダーするとお店の人がローラースケートを履いて

商品を車まで届けてくれます。

They deriver the meal to your car with roller skate.

ちょっと面白いけれどお味の方はどうでしょうね。

Sounds fun.......how about taste?

わざわざ行く必要はない感じですかね。。。

食べ放題！ buffet

今週末はレイバーデーの連休です。

上の子も一週間分の洗濯物とともに家に戻ってきました。

連休とはいえ、ダディは出張中、マミィは療養中？ゆえ

どこに行く事も出来ません。

食生活が乏しかった上の子の要望でブランチに行ったのは

Eastridge mall にあるTomi Sushi & Seafood Buffet

Labor day weekend! 

Older boy came back home with laundry.

But, daddy is out of town on business,

mommy has sore toe......the family is not able to get away.

Older boy want to eat a lot, and went to Tomi Seafood Buffet at Eastridge mall.

週末の夜はすごい人気でいつも長い列が出来ています。

今日はお昼の開店直後に行ったので、すぐに入る事が出来ましたが、

４００名収容出来るお店はほぼ満席。

寿司以外の料理は中華料理

出来たて点心やヌードルバー、アイスクリームなどのデザートと

１００種類ものメニューを提供しているそうです。

This restaurant is popular, always people makes a long line.

This place offer sushi and Chinese, about 100 menu.

ちょっと調べたら、上の子の学校のすぐ近くにある

Kome Seafood Buffet の姉妹店なんだそう。

Tomi buffet is a sister restaurant of Kome Buffet at Daily city.

It is near older boy's school.

ブランチに行きそびれたレアですが

家族より一足先に夕飯をいただいた事を忘れたのか

マミィが夕飯の用意をしているとごはーん！と何度も催促

Lea was not able to go for a brunch.

Lea ate her meal little earlier than the family,

but she may forget it......

when mommy prepared dinner, Lea pressed her for dinner.

レアのご飯はブッフェじゃないんだから。。。

Lea! your meal is not buffet!

期待のお店 come again?

今夜ボーイズはゴルフ部の打ち上げパーティという事で、

ダディとマミィは以前から気になっていた炉端焼きのお店「いろり家」に行きました。

Boys went to "job well done "party of golf team tonight.

Daddy & mommy went to Japanese grill restaurant ”Irori-Ya"which they wanted to go.

自家製の干物や釜飯など、美味しいものもあり

正直それほどでもないと思う物もありました。

一皿がとても品が良い量なので。。。。コストパフォーマンスもかなり割高だし

どうしてももう一度来たい店かと聞かれると

ちょっと考えます。

Something is good, but something is so so....

One plate is small.

In terms of cost-effectiveness, other place may be better than here. 

ブランチ Panera

久しぶりのパネラブレッドにブランチ。

もう少ししたらレアの家のすぐ近くにもオープンの予定です。イエイ！

Lea went to Panera Bread Caffe for brunch.

The new Panera will be open near Lea's house soon. Yeah!

今日はThe Plant Shopping mallに来ました。
ここのモールはレストラン、スーパー、ホームセンターなどなど
街中の主なお店がすべて集結しているのではないかと思うほど充実しています。

The Family went to The Plant Shopping Mall.
It seems all of the main shop of downtown.





レアにとっては他のお店の充実より
お腹の充実かな？

For Lea, It's important the improvement of stomach than the improvement of shop

ザリガニ crawfish

ずっと先延ばしになっていたレストランCrawdaddy へ行きました。

ここはケージャンシーフードのお店でザリガニが名物。

週末はとても込んでいて入れませんでした。

Boys and mommy went to the restaurant "Crawdaddy"

This restaurant is Cajun seafood restaurant,  and feature crawfish.

They were not able to go to last Saturday, because it's pretty crowded.

着席するとすぐにテーブルに置かれたのが、ペーパータオルと人数分のエプロン

When they got seats, the server put paper towel and aprons on the table.

店内のお客さんは皆ザリガニを食べていましたが

ちょっと躊躇したボーイズはエビを注文。

１パウンド（４５０g）が一人前でマーケットプライス。

今日はザリガニが１０ドル、エビが１２ドル。

バターとガーリックが入ったたっぷりの茹で汁に浸かって

ビニール袋で出されます。。。ビックリ！

The customers were eating crawfish.

one pound for one person, and market price.

crawfish is $10, shrimp is $12 today.

These were in the plastic bag and were served with butter and garlic.

ザリガニはまるでミニチュアのロブスター

ロブスターは海ザリガニというのだった。。。。

なんだか鏡餅の飾りみたいです。

The crawfish looks like miniature lobster.

万歳させてもこの大きさ

Hands up!

でも殻が堅くて剥きにくく、食べる所はあまりありません。

エビは普通に美味しい。

The shell of crawfish is stiff, and its meat is few.

Shrimp is delicious.

殻をむくとき汁が飛び、手はバターでギトギト。。。。

When peeling the shell, you get spattered with juice,

and get greasy hands.

３人で３パウンド食べた後テーブルもギトギト。。。。

でも後片付けはテーブルに敷いてある紙ごとまとめてポイ！と

とても合理的でした。

After boys & mommy ate 3 lbs shellfish,

the table is messy.

However, cleanup is so easy,

the server just picks up four corners of paper on the table and throws it away together.

美味しかったけど、ちょっと最後の方飽きたかも。。。

ハワイのカフクシュリンプが好きな人はお試しを。

Taste is good but got bored before finish.
