Boys were able to meet paternal Grandparent, uncles and cousins.
They measured with cousins.....grown up, boys!

Today is grandpa's birthday,
the family was able to celebrate together.

Lea seemed to enjoy dinner time together,
and all done!

There is the Kakegawa castle that was built about 500 years ago,  near grandpa's house.
It is famous as a castle of Katsutoyo Yamauchi (8th lord)

In fact the castle might be built by boys' ancestor....??

From first lord to third lord managed this area.

They kept checking the list,
mommy found that there was the lord of a castle of the name same as her maiden name.

Boys may be the descendant of the lord of Japanese castle?
They experienced JAPA〜N!

Japanese game center

By unexpected news, boys could visit to Japan.
They wanted to go to Japan in this summer,
because the thing that they missed, is Japanese game center.

The prize of Japanese "UFO catcher" is really good.
American crane machine, even though it has three claw, grabs a prize loosely.
Plus, the prize is really junk.

Younger boy is interested in Pokemon again.
When he lived in Japan, he played it often,
but now, it was changed to a new model "Pokemon Toretta".
Mommy thought that younger boy is too grown up for playing in it.
However, they encountered a few office workers who wore business suits, played in it.

Round One

After boys played "UFO catcher"
they used Karaoke box.
Daddy & mommy were really surprised because older boy was able to sing Japanese songs.

Lea was relaxing after brushing.

出来る!? new trick?

This news was broadcasted one week ago.
Thirteen dogs jumped one rope, and they broke the Guinness World Record.
"Wow Wow Dog Circus" have two more Guinness Record.
Lea was interested in this news.

Jump rope is so hard for Lea, but
recently, Lea understand a new word "Take off your dress!"
Of course, Lea is not able to do by herself,
when she is said so, she comes over and want mommy to undress.

When mommy told to Lea "Come on! Get in the stroller"
Lea jump into it delightedly.

Sports Authority

Well, boys were given push cart for tomorrow tournament.
This price is only $28 each at Sports Authority.
Boys have to play 18 holes, about 4 hours, under the scorching sun.
Lea wish that the carts will help their play a little.

敬老の日 better than nothing

Today is the Respect-for-the-Aged Day in Japan.
Respect-for-the-Aged Day (third Monday of September and it started back in 1951):
day for showing respect and affection for the elderly
who have devoted themselves to the society for so many years,
and for celebrating their long life
On Grandparents Day ( September 11th in this year)
the U.S. celebrate the special people whose love makes such a difference in our lives.
In 1978, the United States Congress recognized grandparents
by proclaiming a national holiday in their honor.
Boys wrought a letter to grandparents.

They forget Japanese steadily....

They forgot Kanji, even a few Hiragana letters, too

Older boy sometimes use the translation site on PC,
the sentence is not natural, sounds like a message from universe.
 "we ・fine."

It stands to reason that boys' conversation became 100% English,
because they are spending almost all day by English.
As language, English is easier than Japanese.
Why mommy's English does not improve??

Sending cards to grandparents constantly is very important.
It is a good opportunity for boys to write Japanese,
to think Japanese and to talk about their relatives who live in Japan.
It is an important to continue little by little.

We are fine!!
