母の日 Mother's day

マミィが仕事から家に戻ると、きれいなお花が花瓶に挿しておいてありました。

上の子が明日の母の日のためにオーダーしてくれたのだそうです。

When mommy return home, 

there was beautiful flower with vase on kitchen counter.

Older boy ordered it for mother's day.

しばらくすると、また別のお花が届きました。

本当は金曜日に届くはずの花が届かなかったとクレームを上の子がしたので

お花屋さんがもう一つ花を届けてくれたらしい。

After a short time, another flower bouquet was delivered.

Older boy made a complained about delaying of delivery,

the shop delivered another one for apology.

マミィにとっては何とも嬉しいサプライズでした。

でも家族にはあと二人男性がいるのにね。。。と思うレアでした。

What a great surprise! 

However, there are two more members in the family.....

今日の祝い事 celebration

五月五日はこどもの日です。

もう鯉のぼりは無くなってしまいましたが、少しだけ飾っています。

Today is boy's festival.

レアは女の子ですが、シーズンものという事で

恒例のかぶり物。。。。

Lea is a girl, but it is seasonal occasion.

She put on a Japanese helmet.

さすがにちょっとムッとしている。。。？

アメリカではメキシコのお祭りシンコデマヨで盛り上がっています。

レアはやけにマラカスが気になるらしく

In U.S., Cinco de Mayo today.

Lea is curious about maracas very much.

ソンブレロは結構お気に入りのよう。

Lea seems to like her sombrero.

今年も色々野菜の種を蒔いてみようと思っています。

去年は蒔いた種をかなり鳥に食べられてしまったので、

今年はこれで芽が出るまで育てみようという事に。

Daddy is going to cultivating vegetable this year too.

Last year, after planting seed, birds ate it a lot.

Daddy uses this tray for sprouting.

今年は何が採れるのか、楽しみなレアは

Lea is looking forward to harvesting.....

春になるかな〜 spring coming

今日は日中はぽかぽかと小春日和。

庭のお花も次々と咲き始め、ヒヤシンスは満開。

It is a warm day!

Various flowers bloom next to next.

レアも庭をあちこち探索。

大好きなストロベリーもこんなにたくさん

Lea found a lots of baby strawberries.

雑草の花ですら可愛いのですが

生えすぎて、せっかく咲いたムスカリが埋もれていたので

マミィは一生懸命草むしりをしました。

Even the flower of weed is beautiful.

However, it is too much, it covered the other flowers,

so mommy pulled it out.

レアは暖かい日差しの下で

このまま春になるのかな〜とのんびりくつろいでいました。

Lea lounged under the warm sun.

お片づけの時も stay by

クリスマスツリーを片付けました。

Mommy cleaned up Christmas tree today.

ボーイズがすっかり大きくなったので、

マミィが一人寂しくする飾り付けの時も、後片付けの時も

レアがずっとそばにいてくれました。

Because boys already grow up, they are not interested in it.

Mommy cleaned it up all alone.......but

Lea stayed by mommy.

レア用のオーナメントもお片づけね。

Lea's ornament is put away, too

と言ってるのに、袋に入れるとすぐに出してしまうレア。

Mommy put it in the plastic bag, but

Lea unbag soon......."No, Lea"

だめ！と怒られてちょっとすねちゃった。

Lea got a warning, she hid behind the box.

新春なので turn of the year

お散歩していたら、道のあちらこちらにクリスマスツリーが転がっています。

年が明けると各家庭の庭木のゴミと一緒にツリーが出されるのです。

日本で松飾りを外すような感じかな？？

これはリサイクルされると今朝のニュースでも言っていました。

When Lea went for a walk, 

she found Christmas trees on roadsides, 

because tomorrow is collection day.

They said on the morning news

Christmas trees are recycled.

ここ数日、日中は暖かい日が続いているので、

レアの家の玄関周りにも気がついたらお花が咲き始めていました。

These several days, warm days continue in the daytime.

Lea noticed some flowers began to bloom.

椿の花も満開。

The camellias of the entrance side are in full blossom.

ミニバラもたくさん咲きました。

mini roses, too.

まだまだ１月なので寒さは戻ってくると思いますが

新春のお日様の暖かさを感じています。

Still January, the cold will return.

Lea enjoys warmth of the sunlight for a while.

置き場所 christmas tree

今年はちょっと出遅れたクリスマスツリー

雨の合間に切りに行って来ました！

結構上っていくと、そのエリアはクリスマスツリーを売っている看板だらけ。。。

Daddy & mommy went to get the Christmas tree.

There are many Christmas tree farm.

入り口のおじさんが何も言わずにホイッとのこぎりだけを渡し

あとはどうぞご勝手にって感じの場所です。

コストがかからないので、どのサイズを切っても＄６０とお得。

At the entrance, the guy gave daddy a sew.

You can choose any tree that you want.

Any size, any variety $60.

もっと大きな木が欲しかったのですが、自分たちで車の上に載せられないと困るので

この大きさになりました。

They wanted a big tree, but they have to bring the tree by themselves,

so they chose this tree.

家に到着すると、レアは真っ先に自分のボールをツリーの下に置きました。

When Lea watched tree, she brought her ball and put it under the tree immediately.

ツリーの下にプレゼントが置かれる事を知っているのかな？

でも置いてくれるのはサンタさんなんだけどね。。。。

Lea knows there are presents under the tree.

Santa puts it on there though.....

パンプキン！ pumpkin!

街の中はすっかりパンプキンシーズンとなり、

ハーフムーンベイでは今年も巨大カボチャコンテストが開催され

各ファームではpumpkin patch といって、カボチャの露天販売所が開かれます。

It's pumpkin season!

Each farm holds pumpkin patch.

なので、レアも今日はシーズンにぴったりの

カボチャのドレスを着てみました。

Lea choice this dress today.

とってもお似合い♡

ばれんたいん Happy Valentine's day!

今日はバレンタインデー。

街中にはフラワースタンドが出て、

至る所でお花を売っています。

There are many flower stand on the road,

because today is a St Valentine's day.

ボーイズゴルフの後、スーパーで可愛いイチゴを見つけたので買いました。

イチゴが大好きなレアが早速ねらっていますが

チョコレートがけだからダメ〜

After boys practicing golf, they found this strawberries.

Lea wants to eat her favorite fruits ♡

but she can not eat it.....sorry.
