今日は敬老の日ですね!
アメリカにも"Grandparents Day" があります。今年は9月11日でした。
ボーイズはおじいちゃん達に、カードを書きました。
Today is the Respect-for-the-Aged Day in Japan.
Respect-for-the-Aged Day (third Monday of September and it started back in 1951):
day for showing respect and affection for the elderly
who have devoted themselves to the society for so many years,
and for celebrating their long life
On Grandparents Day ( September 11th in this year)
the U.S. celebrate the special people whose love makes such a difference in our lives.
In 1978, the United States Congress recognized grandparents
by proclaiming a national holiday in their honor.
Boys wrought a letter to grandparents.
日本語をどんどん忘れている彼ら。。。
They forget Japanese steadily....
覚えている漢字はほとんどありません。
最近は平仮名すらあやしくなってきています。
They forgot Kanji, even a few Hiragana letters, too
上の子はＰＣの翻訳サイトを使ったりするので、
いきなり、「我々は元気である」などと
宇宙人のメッセージのようになってしまう事も。。。
Older boy sometimes use the translation site on PC,
the sentence is not natural, sounds like a message from universe.
"we ・fine."
会話もボーイズの間ではほぼ100％英語になってきています。
一日の大半を英語で生活しているのですから当たり前なのかもしれませんが
言語としては日本語より英語の方が簡単という事もあると思います。
なのにどうしてマミィは英語が話せるようにならないのだーーーー
It stands to reason that boys' conversation became 100% English,
because they are spending almost all day by English.
As language, English is easier than Japanese.
Why mommy's English does not improve??
カードを送ることは、ボーイズが元気なことを知らせる事はもちろん
日本語を書く機会でもあり、日本にいる親類縁者について話したり考えたりする
良い機会にもなっています。少しでも続けることが大切かな？
Sending cards to grandparents constantly is very important.
It is a good opportunity for boys to write Japanese,
to think Japanese and to talk about their relatives who live in Japan.
It is an important to continue little by little.
とにかくレアは今日も元気で～す!!
