今日はPresidents day の休日。

ずっとよいお天気が続いていたのですが、今日は曇っているので肌寒い。

レアは先日買ってもらったセーターを来てお出かけ。イェイ！！

Today is a holiday of the Presidents day.

Beautiful weather continued, but it's clouded today and is chilly.

Lea wore a sweater that mommy bought it the other day, and went out. Yeah!!

といっても、また練習場ですが。。。。

今週ボーイズの学校はお休みで、明日は大きな試合があります。

However, the destination is driving range....

This week is holiday, and boys have a game of golf tomorrow.

やはり個人参戦とは違い、チームメンバーの一人という責任もあるためか

ボーイズのゴルフへの向き合い方もずいぶん変わり、積極的です。

The game with team is different from a personal game for them.

Boys take a proactive stance to golf.

今日はダディも練習。

最近調子があまり良くないらしい。。。。デス。

His play does not seem to be good recently......

レアももちろん積極的にゴルフ(コース)に向き合い

今日もホームコースを走り回っています。

今日はダディはゴルフ。

ボーイズは映画「Escape from planet Earth」を観に行きました。

Daddy went to golf.

Boys went to the movie "Escape from planet Earth"

映画はまあまあかな。。。

地球にやって来て捕まったエイリアン

エリア５１では彼らのスーパー能力を人間が利用

スマートフォン（アップル）、ソーシャルネットワーク（フェースブック）

検索エンジン（グーグル）などの技術を作り出したという設定は面白かったですが。

よくあるストーリー展開でした。。。

The movie is pretty good.....

Aliens which came over to the earth and have been captured,

have ability to create smartphone (Apple), SNS(Facebook) and search engine(Google)...

Bad guy who is the boss of area 51,  plot to cotton on to it.

This is a familiar story.

昨日も今日もお留守番続きのレアは、庭でマミィに遊んでもらい大喜び

弾丸ダッシュで走り回るレアの運動能力はすごいですが

レアのスーパーな能力と言えばやっぱりこの可愛らしさかな？

Lea who stayed home yesterday and today.

After mommy came back home, Lea had play together at backyard.

Lea was excited! and cannonball !!

Her athletic capability is splendid, but prettiness is more splendid.

ウォーキング walking

家族はLivermore の Springtown GCに行きました。

ウォーキングで９ホール。プレイフィーなんと一人＄５

値段なりのメンテナンスではありましたが

ボーイズにはよい練習、ダディとマミィには良い運動になりました。

The family went to Springtown GC of Livermore.

They played only 9 holes by walk.

The course could hardly be called good condition, 

because the green fee is only $5 per person.

However, it's good practice for boys, and good exercise for daddy & mommy.

お留守番となったレアは、いつでもウォーキング。

最近は公園で、少しだけリーシュなしで歩く事も。

レアにとっては良い練習です。

Lea always enjoy walking.

Recently, Lea try to walk without leash at park.

It's a good practice for Lea.

今日もまた valentine's day

今日はバレンタインデー。

街のあちこちで、花束が売られています。

Beautiful banquets were sold on the street and at store.

It's a Valentine's day!!

日本のようにチョコレートの数を気にする必要のない

ボーイズは今日も練習。

Boys who don't need to take care of girl friend, worked out again.

そしてレアは今日も元気にお散歩

Lea went for a walk, of course!

レアは掃除機が苦手。

こんな所から様子をうかがっています。

Lea is terrible with vacuum.

She watched it from behind the wall.

ついに庭に出て、掃除が終わるのを待っていました。

Lea watched it's motion through the window.

学校の後、今日もボーイズはゴルフの練習です。

迎えにいくと、上の子が昨日苦戦したバンカーを練習していました。

親という字は「立ってる木のよこで見(守)る」と書くんだった。。。

そんな事を思い出したマミィでした。

After school, boys went to practice golf.

Older boy practiced bunker shot because of his play of yesterday.

The parent is only able to watch child from behind the tree.

いいぞー！！ good job!

マルカイにお買い物に行ったら、店内にハワイアンが流れていました。

いいですねー！マミィのテンションがあがったのは言うまでもありません。

そして購入したサイミン（ハワイアンのラーメン）

けっして美味しい！と言えるものではありませんが

ハワイではマクドナルドのメニューにもある定番フードです。

When mommy went to shopping to Marukai,

Hawaiian music was played in the store.

Love 〜Hawaiian ♥music

Mommy purchased this saimin (Hawaiian noodle that is very popular in Hawaii.)

A menu of McDonald's has it.

それからマウイタクアン

ハワイのコスコでは巨大な瓶に入ったタクアンが売られていたのを思い出しました。

今でも売られているかな？？

And this, Maui Takuan

Mommy remembered a huge jar of Takuan was sold at Cost-co of Hawaii.

It still has it????

今日はボーイズはゴルフの試合のため、特例で３０分ほど早退。

マウイタクアンを入れたスパムスビを食べ、すぐに着替えてCinnabar Hills GC へ。

Today, boys have golf game.

Mommy prepared Spamusubi for their snack.

初試合、難しいコースでしたが４０代で上がり、二人とも上位に入ったそう。

でも、上の子はバンカーショットに苦戦したらしく

試合後もう暗くなっていたにも関わらず、バンカーで練習をして戻ってきました。

下の子は、帰りの車の中で自分のプレイを振り返り、反省点を見つけていました。

いいぞ！ボーイズ。

This is the first time that they played this tough course as team member of new school.

The result was decent.

Older boy faced bunker shot, he practiced it after game, though sun went down.

Younger boy looked back on his play and found reflection point.

Good job! boys!!

買ってよかった。 slow cooker

ハワイに住んでいる頃から、何度も購入を考えたスロークッカー

約２０年越しで、ついに購入しました。

一番シンプルなスタイルで＄２５

Mommy intended to purchase slow cooker since she lived in Hawaii,

and near 20 years have passed.

Finally, she bought it! $25.

朝、ボーイズを学校に送った後

早速、カレーを仕込んでみました。

肉や野菜を炒めてポットに入れ、分量通りの水とカレーのルーを入れ

スイッチオン！

Mommy prepared Japanese style curry this morning.

She browned beef and fried onion, put them in the pot and turned it on.

That's it!

本来は放って置いても料理してくれる便利もののはずなのに

初めて使うので途中経過が気になり。。。付きっきり？？？

意味なーい！！

Just leave it for several hours.

but, Lea is curious because this is first time, and stay with it.....

It doesn't make sense!!

焦げ付きもせず、しっかり煮込んでくれました。

もっと早く購入すればよかったと思いました。

It brought a good result.

Mommy should have bought it earlier.

しかも、今のキッチンにぴったりの色で

なかなかグッドなワンポイントになりました。

レアの事じゃないから〜！

Plus, this color is perfect for the kitchen, it's good spice.
