オリエンテーション orientation

下の子は昨日から一泊で大学のオリエンテーションがありました。

行く前は、一泊することに気乗りしていなかったのですが

楽しかったのだそう。

学校のグッズをもらったのも嬉しいそうでした。

Younger boy went to college 

for attending overnight orientation from yesterday.

It was unexpected-fun.

He seemed happy to get original school goods.

今日は早速Tシャツも着ていました。

授業はとても大変そうだけど、今の所かなり前向きので

レアも応援しています。

He wore school T-shirt today.

Since he stays positive, 

Lea waves pompoms for him.

届いたよ arrived

ついに上の子のApple  Watch も届きました。

Finally, special small box arrived today.

この一週間、マミィも身につけてると

みんなに「あーそれ〜」と注目を浴び

スーパーで見知らぬおじさんにも呼び止められ

使いごごちを聞かれたりしました。

This one week, mommy's Apple watch 

is standing in the center of attention.

Stranger stopped mommy at grocery store,

and asked "How do you like?'

やっぱりすごいね〜

impressed!

ミュージアムへ Walt Disney Museum

今日はボーイズとマミィーはサンフランシスコへ行きました。

ゴールデンゲートブリッジ近くのプレシディオにある

ウォルトディズニーファミリーミュージアムへ

 Boys and mommy went to San Francisco.

They visited Walt Disney Family Museum.

２０１３年の映画「Saving Mr.Banks」を見てから、

行こうと言っていてなかなか行けなかったところ

中にはセル画やスケッチ、ミッキーにまつわるグッズなどが

たくさん展示されていました。

 After they watching the movie "Saving Mr. Banks" in 2013,

they wanted to visit here.

歴代のミッキーの腕時計たち

今や、Apple Watch でもその姿は受け継がれています。

There are many old watches with Mickey mouse.

Mommy also has Mickey's watch, but this is digital version.

最後の展示はディズニーランドに関するもの

ウォルトが思い描いた模型がありました。

 Last display is Disney land that Walt envisioned.

フロリダでは数え切れないほど足を運んだディズニーワールド

ウォルトはその完成を見ずにこの世を去ったのですが

後を兄のロイが引き継ぎ完成させたのです。

今でも多くの人に夢を与えるディズニーの素晴らしさを

改めて感じました。

The family went to Walt Disney World countlessly,

when they lived in Florida.

Walt was not able to see the completion of WDW.

His brother Roy led the company in continuing the project,

and completed it.

ミュージアムを後にして、帰りに立ち寄ったのは

上の子の学校の近くにあるショッピングモール

ここのインドカレーが美味しいよと連れて行ってくれました。

本格的！

Older boy brought mommy to this curry shop that is near his college.

delicious!

帰り道

山をすっぽり包むような雲か霧は

ちょっと不思議な景色。

でもこのエリアではあまり珍しくない現象です。

上の子の運転で、ちょっとしたお出かけを楽しみました。

Mommy enjoyed outing by older boy's driving.

今年も卒業式 graduation ceremony 2015

今日は下の子の卒業式です。

特別なことはできませんが、バルーンを買って飾り付けしたら

とてもうれしそうな下の子と、レア。

Younger boy's graduation day today.

Nothing special, but mommy decorated the room with balloons,

younger boy was so excited with Lea.

去年より生徒たちのレイが派手に個性的になり

親兄弟や親戚もかなり盛り上がっていました。

まるでアイドルのコンサートのように卒業生の顔写真のうちわ

キャップトスの時には誰かが仕掛けた花火まで上がりました。

A lot of graduates wore more various leis,

and spectators were more excited than last year.

Somebody set fireworks when they threw their caps.

ダディーが参加できなかったので、上の子が写真を撮ってくれました。

卒業式がとっても楽しかった〜と言っていた下の子

人生はまだまだこれから楽しいことがあるはず

羽ばたいて行ってね〜

Unfortunately, daddy was not able to be there,

older boy took a lot of pictures.

Younger boy really enjoyed his ceremony.

Much more fun will be waiting from now.

Fly high in the future!

組みたてて new computer｀

下の子は高校卒業のお祝いに

各パーツを選んで自分で組み立てるコンピューターを買ってもらいました。

今日、そのパーツが届いたので、上の子に助けてもらいながら

組みたてていました。

Younger boy graduates high school this Thursday.

He got a new computer as a graduation present.

Today, all parts were delivered,

he got older boy's help and assembled them.

いろんなパーツがあります。

コンピューターの中身。すごい！

There are a lot of parts.

レアも組み立てに参加？しました。

Lea helped them.

りんご時計 Apple watch

今日はダディの誕生日！なのですが、

あいにくお仕事で家にはいません。。。

Today is daddy's birthday.

Happy Birthday!!!

but he went to business trip now.

誕生日といえば、プレゼント

今日は３ヶ月遅れでマミィの誕生日プレゼントApple watchが届きました。

早速上の子がセッティング。

Apple payもできるようにしてくれました。

Mommy got her birthday present today.

It is Apple watch!

Older boy set everything for mommy.

iPhone と色々連携プレーができ、電話もこれで話すことができるので、

家の中で携帯を持ち歩かなくてすみます。

Mommy can answer phone on it !!

It looks very convenient.

色々設定してくれた上の子と

先日中華料理屋にランチを食べに行った時

彼が食べたフォーチュンクッキーの中身がこれ

ニヤリと笑って　”Yes!もうすぐくる！” とつぶやきました。

彼の時計ももうすぐ届くらしいです。

Older boy who did all of settings, 

got this fortune-telling at Chinese restaurant the other day.

Yes!......his watch seems to be coming soon.

昨晩NBA の西カンファレンスの決勝で

Warriorsが103-90で勝利を収め,

４０年ぶりにファイナルへの進出を決めました。

The Warriors clinched their first trip to the NBA Finals in 40 years

 with a 103-90 victory over the Rockets in Game 5 Wednesday night.

やっぱりレアは勝利の女神！

Lea is right a goddess of the victory.
