今年はどうかな？ predict this year

今週ラスベガスに出張に行っているダディから

昨年同様マスターズのチケットを購入したと連絡がありました。

Daddy went to Las Vegas this week.

He bought betting tickets of PGA tour "Masters" like last year.

昨年見事優勝者を当て、３５倍をゲットしたレアの予想は

最近調子の良いタイガーウッズ

でも、あまりにも大本命という事で

今年はいつも応援しているリッキーにしました。

Lea got win ticket last year.

Her predict of this year is Tiger Woods, but Tiger is sure bet,

Lea challenged to bet on Rickie Fowler.

家族がそれぞれ掛けたのは

上の子　大本命のタイガーウッズ　2.5 倍

下の子　不調続きのローリーマキロイ　6倍

ダディ　タイガーでなかったらそれ以外と  アザーズ　10 倍

レア　まず無いとは思うが贔屓にしているリッキー　なんと30倍

Family bought the tickets this year.

Older boy     Tiger Woods 2.5/1

Younger boy    Rory McIlroy   6/1

Daddy   Field  10/1

Lea     Rickie Fowler  30/1......it's really challenge!

さて今年の結果はどうなるかな？

What will happen to the result this year?

これも春。。because....spring.

今週ボーイズは春休み

今日、明日とJGANCのトーナメントに参加です。

This week is spring break.

Boys participate golf tournament of JGANC today and tomorrow.

とてもよい天気なのですが、春一番のような強風が吹き荒れ

頭が痛くなるほど。。。。。大変です。

精神力の弱いボーイズはかなりテンションがダウン。

Today is so beautiful day BUT

big windy day........horrible!

Boys lost their drive.

そんなボーイズを送り出したマミィは

歯のクリーニングを朝から受けに行っているレアをお迎えに行きました。

ワンコはおとなしく口を開けてイスに仰向けになっているはずは無いので

クリーニングとはいえ、全身麻酔をかけ、手術と同じ状態

かなり大変です。

After mommy sent boys on the green,

she went to animal  hospital to pick up Lea that took dental treatment from early morning.

Dogs are not able to keep sitting on the chair with opening their mouth.

That's why dental treatment is same as surgery under anesthesia.

そのため、朝の７時から病院入りしたレア

３時にお迎えに行くと、

一刻も早くここから出たいとばかりに出口へまっしぐら

Lea really doesn't like hospital,

when mommy pick her up, she went straight exit as fast as she can.

その足でボーイズをお迎えに行ったのですが

麻酔が完全に切れていないようでまだ眠そう

それでも健気にボーイズを応援です。

Lea was still tired, when she arrived golf course,

but she cheerleaded.

暗くなってからの事。

ブラインドを閉めずにいたら、

部屋の明かりに引き寄せられた小さな虫がガラス戸一面に。。

大変な事になっていました。

これもまた春だから。。。う〜〜ん

At the night, mommy forgot to close the blind of family room.

A ton of tiny flying insect sticked on the window........horrible 〜！

やっぱり春。 sweets tree?

今日もボーイズは庭でアプローチ合戦

Boys played chipping battle again.

レアはソフトボールを取ろうと籠と格闘

Lea tried to get a soft ball and battled with basket.

ついに手に入れ満足顔

Lea got a ball and satisfied.

その後、練習場に行ってショートコースを回りました。

トレイルに続くゲートが開いていたのでちょっと探検

After that, boys went to short course .

The gate of path that following a trail, was open.

Lea went into the path.

草ぼうぼうだったのですぐに引き返しましたが。。。

But, so bushy-!!

コース脇では八重桜が満開。

マミィが子供の頃、密かに桜餅の木と呼んでいた八重桜

道明寺がいっぱいついているように見えるでしょ？

Double cherry blossoms are in full blossom on the course side.

When mommy was young, she called this tree 

"the tree of Sakura Mochi (cherry flavored soft rice cake)"

Do you see it like that?

何の春？ in spring

ボーイズは庭でアプローチ合戦をしました。

ネットの一番外が１点、次が５点、ブルズアイが１０点

Boys played chipping battle at backyard.

The outer net is 1point, the inner net is 5points and bullseye is 10 points.

レアも一緒になってボール遊び

上の子が見事、真ん中のブルズアイに入れました。

Lea played with ball together.

Older boy got bullseye and won.

弾丸ダッシュで庭中を走り回ったレア

Lea watched their game and ran around in the backyard.

よほどお腹が空いたのか、

お散歩から戻った４時過ぎにご飯を食べたにも関わらず

６時過ぎ、なぜかしつこく催促するので

あげてみると、ほぼ完食。

Though Lea ate her dinner after walking at 4pm,

she seemed to want to eat her meal at 6pm.....again?

She ate almost all of second plate.

食欲の春！えっ？　スポーツの春！ん？

どちらもちょっと違うけど、楽しかったようで良かったね。

"In spring, I have an appetite"......What?

"In spring, it's the season of sports".........???

Anyway, Lea enjoyed a lot.......Good!

お決まりの regular

キルト教室の案内を出したところ

「ずーっと探してました〜」「待ってました」という嬉しい問い合わせが。。。

場所や日程の希望がマチマチでどうしたものかと思案していましたが

とにかく出来るところから始めてみることに。

Mommy run classified Hawaiian quilt class's ads in local paper.

 Mommy received many inquirers, but arrangement of schedule is not easy,

because each applicants want different day.

In the meantime, she started new class today.

ハワイ、日本、香港、フロリダ、そしてカリフォニアと５カ所目の初回の今日です。

初回作はお決まりのウルのタペストリー

レアもお教室は慣れたもの。おとなしくしていました。

Mommy had taught Hawaiian quilt at Hawaii, 

Japan, Hong Kong, Florida and San Jose CA.

Today is the first day of fifth place.

Mommy always gives applicants regular task in the first lesson.

夕方、お散歩に行ったレア

公園には子供もワンコもいなかったので

リーシュをはずして歩きました。

When Lea went for a walk,

there were not kids and dogs in the park.

Lea walked without leash.

マミィが芝生の上を歩きレアを呼んだのですが

レアは周りの舗装された道をずっと歩きます。

こんなに芝生が広くて、せっかく他のワンコもいないのに。。。

レアはお決まりの道が好きらしい。

Mommy said "Lea, you can walk in the lawn"

but Lea kept walking on the path.

Though the lawn area is so large, and no dogs today......

Lea prefers to walk regular way. 

そばにいても you don't know

今日もレアはボーイズの試合が終わるのをずーっと待っていました。

ねえ知ってる？

こんなにレアは健気に家族の帰りを待ってるんだよ〜

それがレアの役目だと心得ているから。。。

大好きな家族をいつも一生懸命待っている。

Lea waited for their game to be over patiently.

Do you really know it?

Lea is eagerly waiting for her family's return......like this.

She really knows it is her job.

Lea always waits for her dear ohana.

一番身近な家族の事って意外とちゃんと理解してないかも。

甘えがあって気がつかなかったり、思い込みで勘違いしていたり。。。。

大切な家族、もっともっと理解し合おう。

Maybe, you don't understand your family perfectly.

you do not notice their delicacy because you depend on them.

you may make an unwarranted assumption about their character.

you should understand them more,

because they are much-loved your family

高額医療 high medical care

アメリカでは狂犬病の予防接種は３年に一回

レアは去年の１１月末で接種しなければいけなっかたのですが

引っ越しでうっかり忘れていました。。。

そこで、今日新しいドクターのところへ

Lea had to take a vaccination of Rabies every three years.

Lea's expires 11/27/2012

Mommy forgot it by moving.

Lea visited new doctor today.

もちろん落ち着かないレアは診察室でウロウロ

Lea paced in an exam room impatiently

オフィスビジット、ドクターの検診

要耳の手入れでトリートメントと薬代、爪のカット代

狂犬病とジフテリアの混合ワクチン接種、合計＄400近くかかると言われました。

ワクチンの費用自体は＄50ほどなんですが。。。。。

その上、歯のトリートメントが緊急に必要でこちらにも＄300との事。

結局ウェルネスプランという年間保証の医療保険の様な物に加入しました。毎月＄40

今日の支払いはディスカウントされ＄215

次回の歯のトリートメントはプランに組み込まれているので費用はかからないと。

Office visit, doctor's check, ear treatment and medication

pedicure, vaccine of Rabies and Distemper

subtotal was almost $400!!!!

In addition, doctor strongly required to receive dental treatment as soon as possible.

The cost is $300.

Lea took out a wellness plan.....monthly payment is $40

and today's payment was discount to $215

also, dental treatment is include.

健康なので今まであまり医療費がかからなかったのですが

レアも今年で５歳。

少しずつケアーが必要なのですね。

Lea is healthy girl so far but is going to turn five next month

and she needs care little by little.
