今日はお天気が崩れると思っていたら、ほとんど雨は降りませんでした。
雨雲はフロリダ半島を挟むようにして海上に発生していたようです。
It wasn't raining today.
The rain clouds have grew on the sea of the both sides of Florida peninsula.
熱帯性低気圧のトマスはいまだに停滞中。
余談ですが、このお天気お姉さん（っていう年齢かどうか？）は
ダディお気に入りのJulie Durdaです。

サウスフロリダという場所柄、スペイン語が話せない生徒の数は少なく、
ハイスクールから始まったスペイン語の授業に、上の子は苦労しています。
そこで週に２回、１２年生に教えてもらっているので
今日は、図書館までお迎えに行きます。

Lea goes to pick older boy up at the library.
レア! 運転中はきちんと座ってください。

”あっ! いたよ～”
レアは真っ先に見つけました。
"Oh. There he is !!"
Lea found him fast.
ボーイズのお迎えが終わると今度はもちろんレアの番。
さっそく、無言のプレッシャーが。。。。。。
After Lea came back home, she wanted to go for a walk.
Lea started to demand of silence.
辛抱強く待っていたら。。。。ちょっと眠気が。。。。
........a long-suffering and uncomplaining Lea.......become sleepy...
眠気も吹き飛ばし、またまた熱い視線を送ってきます。
じゃあ～行こうか!
Shrug off sleep! Lea tries to demand again.
OK! Let's walk!
レアは本当にお散歩が大好きです!!
今日はレイクの方まで行ってみました。
Lea really likes walking.
Today, Lea went to the side of Lake.
"Yeah.... I remember swimming to chase after waterfowls......"
帰る途中レアが急に走りだしました。
以前、道を横断していた水鳥の子供たちを、発見したようです。
Lea started to run suddenly on her way home.
Lea found many chicks of waterfowl which crossed the way before.
レアが駆け寄ろうとすると、一緒にいた親鳥は、いつもならあわてて逃げるのに
子供たちを守るため、攻撃態勢に入ったのです。
鬼気迫る親鳥に、写真を撮る余裕もありませんでした。。。。。
When Lea would run up to the chicks, the mother waterfowl tried to attack.
It looked very angry and mommy was not able to take a picture.
あぶないあぶない。。。。
It was so close......
無事家に戻ったレアは大満足!!
Lea came back home safety and she is happy
そして。。。。「ごは～ん」と呼ぶと真っ先に食卓に付くレア。
君は呼んでないよ。
What is next? It's a dinner time!
