あなたの気持。。。。 Psychology

毎日、気持ちの良い天気が続いています。

一人でお留守番をするレアは家の中で過ごすので

庭に出て走り回るのが大好き。

It's comfortable weather every day.

Lea really likes playing at backyard because she always stays at home.

ところが、マミィが庭の掃除をしている間

垣根の下の隙間から、冒険に出かけてしまったレア。

すぐに戻っては来たのですが、どこまで行ってきたのでしょう

While mommy was cleaning the backyard, 

Lea had gone out through the bottom of the fence.

Lea came back soon.......but where did she go ?

昨年の水鳥追いかけ事件あり。。。。

めったに車は通らないものの、急に飛び出して轢かれたりしないか。。。。

道に迷って戻ってこれなくなるのではないか。。。。。

そんな心配をよそに戻ってきたレアは、冒険してきた事に満足気な顔!!

マミィがしばらく言い聞かせましたが、さてどのくらい分かってくれたでしょうか??

Chasing waterfowl again?

.....got hit by a car?......losing her way?.....

Lea was proud-looking for her adventure without minding such a worry.

" Lea! don't do that again!!".......How much does she learn?

先日の新聞に、犬の心理を研究しているDuke University の記事がありました。

犬は他の動物と比較すると、人間の行動やジェスチャーをかなり理解し、

人間を信頼することで生き抜いてきた動物なので、人間はとても大切な存在なのだそうです。

There was a article about dog psychology that
Duke University's Canine Cognition Center focused,

on the newspaper on the other day.

Dogs have figured out how to read human behavior and gestures 

better than any other species has, even chimpanzees.

They can solve almost any problem if they rely on people, 

so people are super-important for them.

そして、「リーシュでつながれている時は人に従う」ということも知っているので

盲導犬や警察犬のように、人間と共に働くことが出来るそうです。

しかし、つなげられていないときは、「自由に行動しても良い」という心理が働くらしく.....

はあ～レアの行動も、それが原因なのでしょうか？

They know they're connected on a leash and dogs reason.

It mean making dogs better at working with people with disabilities 

or better at working with the police or military.

However, when dogs are not on a leash,
they know the command but they don't listen to owners.

Is it the cause of Lea's behavior?

まだまだ、我が家では研究が必要です。。。

We need more research on it.......
