今日マミィはHULA のレッスンでした。
レッスン仲間がパウ スカートを購入したいということで、
以前オーダーしたことがあるハワイのFabric Mart に先日オーダーしました。
さっそく届いたパウ、どれも可愛いです!!
Today was the lesson of mommy's Hula.
Her Hula sisters wanted to buy Pau skirts, so mommy ordered it to Fabric Mart of Hawaii recently.
These skirts that arrived a few days ago are very beautiful.
マミィはパウスカートは買わずに、布地をオーダー。
今朝、レッスンに行く前に一枚作りました。
今回はウエストにゴムを入れずに、紐で縛るタイプの物。
先日のHula workshop の時、クムがパウスカートを身につける儀式!?を
見せてくれたのですが、その時のパウがこの紐一本タイプの物でした。
布地好きなレア、さっそくやってきました。
Mommy didn't buy any Pau skirt and bought Hawaiian fabric to make it.
She made one this morning before she going to lesson.
This is a classic type skirt that kumu Mapuana showed the ceremony of wearing Pau skirt at workshop.
Lea that really likes fabric came and sat on the skirt.
この布地も一緒に購入したのですが、思ったよりも柄が大きかった。。。
スカートじゃなくて別のものにしようかなあ～
”レアの洋服は？”
これは柄が大きすぎるので、別の布で作ろうね。
Mommy bought this one too, but the pattern is larger than she thought.
Will mommy make a something except Pau skirt?
"How about Lea's dress?"
This pattern is too big to make Lea's dress.
Mommy promised making Lea's dress with another cloth.
と、約束をして気がすんだのか
さっそくお散歩要求を始めたレア。
行くまではずっとその目線を送り続けるので。。。。 行きますか！
Lea may be satisfied with promise
and will continue sending the glance to demand a walk.
OK. Let's go!!
暑くも寒くもなく、今は本当にお散歩シーズンです。
レイクサイドで休憩していると。。。。。
Now is the most suitable season for a walk.
When Lea rested at lake side...
おっ!! 久しぶりにレアの好きな?（嫌いな??） 水鳥を発見。
レアは追いかけたくてうずうずしています。
Lea found waterfowls that she likes ( hates?) !!
Lea was impatient to want to run after them.
そういえば、今日の新聞にこんな記事が。
明日からダックシーズンがオープンし、
Everglades とLake Okeechobee の決められた場所で
一日6匹まで狩りをして良いそうです。
もちろん、ハンターにはいくつか定められたライセンスが必要です。
そして、16歳以下の子供でも18歳以上のスパーバイザーが同伴すれば
狩りに参加できる日があるとか。
There was the article " Duck Season" to today's newspaper.
Duck season opens Saturday.
South Florida has the best public duck hunting in the country.
Duck hunters who have special licenses are able to shoot waterfowls to six birds a day
in Everglades and at Lake Okeechobee.
Also, "Youth waterfowl days" is for hunters under the age of 16 who are supervised by 18 and older.
