You go ... I stay..... part 1

This weekend is a Labor day holiday.
We visited Kennedy Space Center and Universal resort!!

Lea tried to get into the bag because she is misunderstanding that she can go with us.

At this time, Lea tried to get in the car. "Let's go-!"
Nice try!! Lea.

Last time we brought Lea to Orland .........but sorry Lea! you have to stay today!
When Lea stay at home, she always gets Greenies ...but today...
 " No! I don't want it!!"

OK,OK Lea. We'll come back soon.....
 "Really?"

We arrived at Visitor center around noon and bought Bus tour tickets.
First  stop is Launch Complex 39 Observation Gantry.
Is this a Bell??  of course not! this is a main engine of space shuttle what really goes to space and returns.
We was able to see the launch pads far away.
Next launch will be November 1st.

Next stop is Apollo/Saturn V Center
This center features a 363-foot moon rocket!
We watched the movie about first moon landing at Lunar Theater.
Only 12 man walked on moon and there are a lot of sacrificed Astronauts.

Last stop is International Space Station Center.
We got a closer look at a Space Station components as they are prepared for flight.

There are many exhibits in the visitor complex.

National Aeronautics and Space Administration

Usually, people gets to know only a part of what Astronauts have in their journey, but behind it there are a lot more to it then just successfully completing a mission or new Astronauts joining in with NASA.  We can use cell phone and GPS easily now because of Space technology. We never forget that there were a lot of sacrifices on the back side of this development.
The sunset that we saw on Challenger Memorial Parkway was very beautiful.

At the same time, Pet sitter comes to meet Lea.
Lea might be sulky and be sleeping.......

We stayed at Loews Royal Pacific Hotel.
