ボーイズは今年から10年生、9年生のハイスクーラーです。
上の子もそろそろ進学を視野に入れた勉強も必要です。
学校で pre-SAT を受けるそうです。
SAT (ACT というのもあります)とは日本で言うセンター試験の様なもの、
この試験の結果次第で進学先が決まります。
Older boy is 10th grade, younger boy is 9th grade now.
Older boy must begin the preparations for college entrance exam.
He takes Pre-SAT tomorrow at school.
ハイスクールともなると、宿題の量も多くなりますが
しっかりゲームをする時間もあるので、大したことはないのかもしれません。
テキストだけはどの教科も分厚くて重いです。
Boys have a lot of homework, of course, they are high schooler,
but they also have enough time to play game......?
The volume of each text book is very big!!
これは上の子のHealth (保健体育)の宿題です。Art(美術)ではありません。
課題は「ティーンエイジャーの妊娠」
イースターのように卵の殻に色を着け、自分の赤ちゃんを作る。
赤ちゃんの代わりに毎日学校へ20日間持って行く。
壊してしまったら減点・・・・なんだそりゃ？
This is Health homework of older boy, not Art homework.
The theme is "Teenager pregnancy'
It looks like Easter eggs, but these are fake babies.
The students have to carry it to school every day, about for 20 days.
If they break it, they get marks taken off.
下の子の英語の宿題。「俳句」
音節を５・７・５にする事。
自然についての言葉を使う事。（季語の事だと思うのですが。。。）
英語で俳句、無理があります。。。
This is the English homework of younger boy.
"Haiku"(Japanese three lines poem)
Make syllable 5,7,5.
Use the word of nature .
It's unreasonable to make "Haiku" by English.
That's pretty impossible......
下の子のスペイン語のクラスではスパニッシュフードを持ち寄り試食。
マミィはスペイン人のお友達に教えてもらい
スパニッシュオムレツとチョリソを 用意しました。
余った物はホームレスのシェルターに寄付したそうです。
In the Spanish class of younger boy,
the students brought Spanish foods and tried it.
Mommy asked her Spanish friend what is Spanish food,
and prepared Spanish omelet and Chorizo.
They donated the leftover to the shelter of homeless people.
上の子のスペイン語のクラスでは生徒が持ち寄りを拒んで
スパニッシュレストランのメニュー制作。
Older boy's Spanish class,
the students made the menu of Spanish restaurant
because they didn't want to bring foods.
こんな宿題ばかりではないと信じたいです。。。。
Lea believe their homework are not only such things.......
