コロンブスデイ Columbus Day

日本は体育の日ですね。アメリカではコロンバスデイです。

1492年にクリストファーコロンブスが北アメリカ大陸に到着したことを祝う祝日ですが

残念ながらフロリダ、カリフォルニア、ハワイなど６州では祝日ではありません。

Today is National Sports day in Japan, in U.S.,Columbus Day.

This day is remembered in the U.S.A to pay tribute to the 1st journey to America in 1492
by Christopher Columbus. 

Unfortunately, today is not a holiday in Florida.

気候の良いシーズンですが、この週末はひどい雨だったため

ハリケーンでもないのに、Homestead 地域では被害もあったようです。

Usually, this season is beautiful, but 

there was some damage in Homestead because it was terrible rain this weekend.

今日はヒレカツです！

日本のパン粉はアジア系スーパーで手に入るのですが

古い?のか,おいしくありません。

食パンでパン粉を作った事もありますが、最近はこれを使っています。

Mommy is going to cook pork tenderloin cutlets.

You can get a Japanese style Bread Crumbs at Asian Market,

but the taste is not good, maybe old.

Mommy made Panko from bread before, she use this currently.

ローカルのスーパーでも最近Panko(Bread Crumbs) が売られていますが

いろんなフレーバーがついているものが多く、食感も違います。

You can find a Bread Crumbs at grocery store.

There are a lot of flavor and difference in texture.
