アップルファンお待ちかねのアナウンスメントが昨日ありました。
上の子はさっそくi-phone 4S 欲しいと言っていました。。。。。
Yesterday, new products were announced that Apple fun waited.
Older boy said he want i-phone 4S.
Tim Cook CEO初の製品発表となりました。
決して革新的新製品ではありませんでしたが、
着実に売り上げをあげそうなラインナップで
Jobs氏から引き継がれた新しいアップルの時代を感じたように思います。
This is the first time for Tim Cook CEO to announce products.
The iPhone 4S is not revolutionary but
the lineup seems to improve sales steadily.
It indicate a new Apple era that took over from Steve Jobs.
中でも一番気になったのは Siri というボイスコントロール。
決められたコマンドではなく、ふうつの会話で調べ物や、
スケジュールのリマインドなどもしてくれるらしい。。。。
まるで私設秘書ですね。
マミィのように英語の発音が悪くても起動してくれるのかな？
Cook氏いわく「その人の声に慣れるのに２，３日かかる」そうですが。。。
もし本当にちゃんと反応してくれたら、
眼の不自由な人にもとても役に立つかもしれないですね。グッドです。
The most intrigued point is Siri voice control.
You don't need to use the specific command,
you can talk to it, and it talks back.....like a personal secretary.
Will Siri be able to understand mommy's bad pronunciation ?
Tim Cook stated that Siri will take a few days to get used to your voice
If it reacts properly, it must help a blind person.

１４日から販売と今回は早いです。
The announcement was Oct.4,
Available Oct.14, and preorders start Oct.7.
と、ここまで書きすすめてきたところで。。。。
Steve Jobs 氏の訃報のニュースを聞きショックを受けました。
IT産業という枠を超え、世界的に人々に驚きと興奮を与える魅力的な商品を
世の中に送り出したJobs氏の功績は 本当に計りしれません。
とてもとても残念です。

His achievement is immeasurable.
Apple said paid tribute to leader as " a visionary and creative genius" adding that
the world had "lost an amazing human being.
Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built,
and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple"

上の子は思えば１歳の時からMacユーザー。
はや、１４年の付き合いです。。。
Older boy has been using Mac since he was one-year-old.
He was shocked by this news very much because he respected Steve Jobs.
