Hollywood で Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital の

オープニングセレモニーがありました。

４年という歳月と １億４０００万ドルかけて建てられた病院は

有名なニューヨークヤンキーズのスラッガーの名前がつけられています。

患者の意見を取り入れ、子供たちが怖がらないように海賊船の検査機械や

病室には教育ゲームができるＴＶなども完備しているそうです。

There was the opening ceremony of Joe DiMaggio  Children's Hospital in Hollywood.

After four years of planning and construction, 

Broward County have its first stand-alone children’s hospital of the $140 million,

named after the famous New York Yankees slugger.

In designing the building, the hospital used many of the ideas collected from patients.

There’s a cat scan machine designed to look like a pirate ship 

to make the experience less intimidating, 

and rooms are fitted with flat screen TVs 

where kids can play educational electronic games.

朝から大々的なパレードが行われ

病院前では色々な催しがあり、すごい人出でした。
 

After the large scale parade, there were various events in front of the hospital 

and was a huge crowd.

Ohana Arts も参加です。

先生の家のすぐ裏なので、会場まで歩いて行きました。

This hospital is very near from Hula teacher's house.

We went to there by walking.

音響担当のＤＪと打ち合わせ。

She conferred with DJ before show.

とても暑いので日陰で待機中。

We were waiting in the shade because it was too hot!

無事終了しました。

We made it!!
