長い夏休みもようやく最終週。
今日から家族はヨセミテ国立公園へ旅行です。
This week is the last week of summer holiday.
The family visited to Yosemite National park.
フライトが一時間程遅れたため、サンフランシスコに到着したのは現地時間の2時。
National レンタカーでAisle にある好きな車を選びます。
今回の旅行のお供はこちらです。
The flight was delayed about one hour,
the family arrived at San Francisco, around 2pm of local time.
They chose this car from Aisle of National rental car.
ヨセミテまでのドライブに備え、フリーウェイに乗る前に
日本食スーパーSuruki に寄ってお弁当やお菓子を買いました。
They stopped at Suruki Japanese market before driving onto the freeway,
because they had a long way to go to Yosemite.
Boys bought some Japanese snacks and bottles of juice.
Mommy bought "Sakura Mochi" (Japanese style rice cake) that
she was not able to eat for a long time.
ベイブリッジを渡って市街地を抜けると、
なだらかに続く丘の上に多数の風力発電の風車が並んでいました。
When they passed through the city area across the Bay Bridge,
many windmills of wind-generated electricity were lined on the hill.
3時間ほどで国立公園の入り口に到着。
After three hours driving, they arrived at entrance of National park.
入口から1時間ほどのトンネルビュー
ヨセミテ一番の絶景ポイントです。
This is the best scenic point of Yosemite, tunnel view,
about one hour from the entrance.
What a view!
そこから30分ほど走ると、ヨセミテバレーです。
宿泊先はYosemite lodge at the Falls
締めきっていた部屋の中はもあ～と暑い。
しかし部屋についているエアコンはヒートオンリー
天井のファンをフルスピードで稼働させ、ベランダを全開しても
渓谷なのであまり風が抜けずに涼しくなりませんでした。
ヨセミテは夏でも夜は冷えると聞いてきたので全く想定外。

しかも夜には可愛いハツカネズミ の訪問までありました。。。
About 30 minutes to Yosemite Valley,
the family stayed at "Yosemite Lodge at the falls"
The closed room was hot and humid because
the air conditioner was heated only.
They opened the balcony door because outside was cooler than room.
Even summer, it is said that the night of Yosemite is cold.....

but it's nature........ they were visited to a mouse too.
