サンフランシスコ Japan Town and more

ホテルに戻り車でJapan Town へ向かいました。

ご存知の通りここは坂の町、ジェットコースター並みの坂もあり

その両脇にはビクトリアンハウスが建ち並んでいます。

The family went to Japan Town.

As you know, there are many steep hills in San Francisco.

Many Victorian houses are there.

TV ドラマでおなじみの「フルハウス」の家の前を通り過ぎてみましたが

DVDで検証してみないと本当かは定かではありません。

This is the house of "Full House"....but not sure,

you need to check out DVD.

Japan Town  の目的は日系スーパーのNijiya での買いだし。

マイアミとは比べ物にならない商品の豊富さ。

日本のお菓子やジュースが大好きなボーイズの目が輝いておりました～

Their task was grocery shopping at Japanese super "Nijiya"

Products are extensive.... cannot compare with Asian store of Miami.

Boys were excited because they like Japanese snacks and juice.

同じビルの中には”味ののれん街”みたいなのがあり

食品サンプルのショーケースが並んでいました。

This is the Japanese style display at the window of the restaurant.

日本のクレープが大好きな上の子は

クレープ屋さんでチョコバナナを注文

こんな可愛いおめめ付きでした。

まだ日本語できちんと注文できた!よかった～

Older boy loves a sweet crape, of course Japanese style,

he was able to ordere "chocolate banana " in Japanese.

夜はフィッシャーマンズワーフへ

この近辺のレストランに入ろうと思ったのですが

込んでいる上、評判も今一つという事で

pier 45 にある Scoma"s へ行きました。

メインの道路から離れているにも関わらず、こちらもかなり人気のよう

The restaurants of Fisherman's wharf did not so have good reputation.

The family went to Scoma's at pier 45.

クラムチャウダー、シェルフィッシュの前菜

ダンジネスクラブ、シェルフィッシュのフライ、リゾット

お腹も一杯になり、お土産屋さん を覗きながらホテルに戻りました。

Today's menu 

Clam chowder, Mixed Shell fish platter

Cracked Dungeness crab, Fried Seafood combo, Risotto

明日はマイアミに戻ります。

Will go back to Miami tomorrow.
