事故 car accident

朝、家族を見送って一休みしていたレアの元にダディから電話が入りました。

”ぶつけられた・・・!”　

え～大丈夫？

After Lea went to garage to see daddy off, she was taking a rest.

Daddy called ....." I got into a car accident!"

朝の通勤ラッシュで、車が減速していたところに

加速したまま突っ込んできた車(Ford)が、ダディの後ろにいた車(Audi)に衝突。

勢い余った車(Ford)がスピンして、ダディの車の後部にぶつかりました。

In the morning rush,

a lot of cars were moving at slow speeds in congested traffic.

A Ford didn't slow down,  and hit a Audi that  was behind daddy's car.

The Ford was spinning and hit a bumper of daddy's.

ぶつけられた車( Audi)の運転者は首にコルセットをはめられ

救急車で搬送されたそうですが、緊急というより念のためといった様子だったそうで

大ケガにならなかったのは不幸中の幸いでしょう。

The driver of Audi put a corset on his neck and was transported to a hospital.

It was not emergency, for just in safe.

It could have been worse.

その上、ぶつけた車(Ford)は保険に入っていない車でした。

フロリダには車検の様なものは無く、
毎年登録料を支払い、そのステッカーをプレートに貼るだけ。

ドナーの件数が多い=事故が多い、こんな地域なのですから

せめて保険の義務付けぐらい、しっかりしてもらいたいものです。

The Ford that caused damage was uninsured motor vehicle.

Florida state imposes only duty that car owners pay registration fee

and put a decal on license plate,

at that time,  car inspection or insurance information are not required.

Florida state should do auto liability insurance.

とにかく、ダディにけがはなく車のダメージもほとんどなかったので良かったです!

Anyway, it was lucky that daddy didn't have injury and the damage of his car was little.
