マミィは今日ワールドキルトショーへ行ってきました。
我が家から北へ1時間程走ったWest Palm beachのコンベンションセンターで
毎年行われています。
Mommy went to World Quilt Show at West Palm Beach.
This show is held annualy.
色々な技法のキルトが展示されていましたが
手縫いではなく、ミシンを使ったマシンキルトが大半を占めていました。
The quilts on display were various technique but were almost machine quilt.
そして、古典的なパターンのキルトよりも
まるで絵画の様な作品が多く出品されていました。
A lot of quilts such as painting exhibited more than traditional quilts.
一点だけ出品されていたハワイアンキルト。
Mommy found only one Hawaiian Quilt.
受賞していませんでしたが、一番印象深かった作品。
This quilt that was left in mommy's impression most.
犬や猫のキルトもありました。
Which one do you like?
Cat or Dog?
他国からの出品もあり、日本の作品も数点飾られていました。
There are exhibition from the other countries, too.
This is from Japan.
会場内にはキルト関連のベンダーが多数出店。
At the site, feature over 50 vendors,
were selling beautiful fabric, thread and other quilt goods.
ワークショップや講演も行われています。
The workshop and lecture were held too.
素晴らしい作品がたくさんありましたが
やっぱりハワイアンキルトがいいなあ～
レアもこのピローがお気に入り。大切に使っています！
There were a lot of gorgeous quilts in show,
but mommy really likes Hawaiian quilt.
"I like my pillow."
