残りの階段を一気に登り、見降ろした景色は360度ジャングル
そして果てしなく広がる空の真っただ中に立っているようでした。

建物の一番下にあるこの像は
蛇が大きく口をあけて舌を出ている様子です。
マヤ文字で「王の命で建てられた」と刻まれているそうです。

全て見終わって車に乗り込んだとたんに雨が降り始めました。良かった～
予定より少し遅れ気味だったからか運転手さん飛ばす、飛ばす！
無事ホテルに戻ったのは予定通りの時間でした。
丸一日、マヤ遺跡を堪能しました。
we came back to the hotel on schedule because the driver hit a gas.
We enjoyed Mayan ruins for full day.
夕飯はホテル近くの日本食 花いち
カンクンでこんなに普通の日本食が食べられるとは思っていませんでした。
お通しはサボテンの佃煮でしたけど・・・おいしかった。
ボーイズはがっつりヒレカツ定食を頂きました。
