今日はMartin Luther King, Jr Dayの祝日です。
キング牧師はアメリカの黒人公民権運動の指導者で
Rosa Parks 逮捕に抗議をしてバスボイコット運動を指導。
1956年にバス車内人種分離法違憲判決を勝ち取りました。
1963年のワシントン大行進で行われた演説"I Have a Dream"はあまりにも有名です。
Today is Martin Luther King,Jr Day.
This federal holiday honoring the civil rights leader is observed
on the third Monday in January.
He led the black boycott (1955-56) of segregated city bus lines
and in 1956 gained a major victory.
His speech " I Have a Dream" that was performed in 1963,
March on Washington, is so famous.

Lea has a Dream
天気の良い日、お散歩に出かけ
Lea goes for a walk in a beautiful day.
水鳥を見つけたら
一緒に遊びましょうと声かける。
When Lea finds waterfowl,
she says "Play with me"
動物の種類が違っても
必ず仲良くなれると信じて
Even if the kinds of animal are different,
Lea believes to make friends
レアには夢がある。
水鳥と走り回り、仲良く泳ぐ日が来る事を。
Lea has a dream.
Some day, the day when Lea runs around and swims with waterfowl, will come.
