今日はまたまた気温が下がりました。
なんと、50州中49州で雪が降ったそうです。
フロリダ州だけ、雪が降りませんでした。。。。ということは
あの常夏の楽園ハワイでも雪が降ったのですね。
そうです、ビッグアイランドのマウナケアは標高4205m。
雪ではなく星も降るマウナケア山頂には天文台があることでも有名です。

Yes even in Hawaii... Mauna Kea is a dormant volcano on the island of Hawai'i.
Standing 4,205m above sea level.
There are astronomical observatories on the summit.
Not only the snow but the star falls on the summit of Mauna Kea.
15年前、カピオラニ病院で産声を上げた上の子。
病院に入ってから19時間後、帝王切開で生まれました。
骨盤の間に頭がはまってしまい、手術も時間がかかりました。
五体満足に生まれてきたことにどれだけ感謝したことか。。。
そんな彼も、今ではすっかり成長し、
レストランではアルコールを勧められるほど大人っぽくなりました。
15 yeas ago, older boy was born at Kapiolani Hospital in Hawaii.
He was born by cesarean, 19 hours later, after mommy went to hospital .
His head caught between pelvises, and the operation took long time.
Mommy was glad that he has been born safely.
He grew big now and was recommended alcohol at restaurant because of adult-featured.
ボーイズの誕生日には毎年焼いているキャラクターケーキ。
昨日は忙しくて作れなかったので、今日作りました。
毎年ボーイズのリクエストに答えて、ケーキをデザインします。
今年のリクエストは。。。。なんと”レア!!”
Mommy made the character cake on the boy's birthday, every year.
Mommy was busy yesterday, so she made the cake today.
Mommy design the cake according to boy's request.
This year request is........ Mercy!! "Lea"
いつもはチョコレートスポンジがベースなのですが、
今年はライスクリスピーが良いということで
大きなライスクリスピーの上にアイシングで絵を描いていきます。
デザインを考える為に、レアにモデルになってもらいました。

今年の誕生日プレゼントは PS3 の「リトルビッグプラネット2」スペシャルバージョン。
発売は18日なので、プレオーダーだけ。。。。。楽しみは後で。
ケーキのデザインにも、このゲームのキャラクターを付けます。
まずはレアの部分を。。。。

作っている途中で、レアが様子を見に来ました。

完成！ なんだか今年のケーキは
小さな女の子向けのようなデザインになってしまいましたね。
Ta-da! This cake is so girlie.....
