慣れ I'm used to it.

レアの家はgated community になっているので

必ずセキュリティーのいるゲートを通ります。

住民は車にバーコードが貼られていて、専用レーンに入れます。

There is Lea's house in the gated community.

The gate read the bar-code that was put on the car,

and open automatically.

今日マミィが戻ってきたとき、

このバーコードの読み取りがうまくいかなかったのか

バーが上がらず、コツンっとぶつけてしまいました。

もちろんスピードが出ていたわけではないので、車のダメージもなく、

セキュリティオフィスから、ちょっと注意された程度ですみました。。。。

When mommy came back home,

something wrong,  the gate didn't open.

The car hit the gate pole softly.

Mommy's car doesn't have damage,

the security office warned of reducing speed the car at the gate. 

一時間後、下の子を迎えに行ったときには

すでにもとに戻っていたので、良かったよかった。。。

After one hour, when Lea went to pick younger son up,

the gate already fixed.

でも日ごろの”慣れ”が引き起こしたことかもしれません。

何事も、慣れとは恐ろしいものです。

今一度自分の生活を見直して、とくに車の運転には注意しないといけません。

Sometimes, habituation is not good.

You need to rethink about your daily life,

especially about driving.

You need to pay careful attention for driving.

レアが庭から家に走って戻ってきたとき

ガラス戸がしまっていたことに気がつかず、

ゴンとぶつかってしまいました。イタタタ。。。

When Lea ran back from backyard,

she hit her head on the glass door because

she didn't watch the door was closed.

Ouch!

いや～慣れには気をつけましょう。
慣れてしまうと、いいと思っていたことも、何もかも普通になって
ありがたみや感謝の気持ちすら忘れてしまうのでしょうね。
気をつけなくちゃ!

Watch carefully!

Nothing is wonderful when you get used to it.
