Groundhog Day

"Groundhog Day" comes once a year and
it's a unique holiday with considerably more popularity outside of Florida state.
Colder-climate locations across the the United States pay more attention
to this tradition, every February 2.

The idea behind Groundhog Day boils down to this:
When the Groundhog came out of a den, if he sees his shadow on Feb 2nd,
there will be six more weeks of winter.
However, if the Groundhog doesn't see his shadow,
there will be signs of an early spring.
This tradition derived from Germany telling the spring arrival.
Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, with the roots of 200 years, is most famous,
because Pennsylvania’s earliest settlers were Germans.

How about the world’s most famous weather forecast of this year?
Punxsutawney Phil crawled out of den and saw his shadow.
As the legend goes, there will be six more weeks of winter.
However, The result of fortune-telling carried out in other areas, was different.

Did you see your shadow?
