ハワイのヒロでは、今日までMerrie Monarch Festival が開催されていました。

残念ながらハワイに住んでいる時も会場にまで見に行く機会はなかったのですが

水曜日に行われたHo'ike の様子がこちらのサイトで紹介されています。

日本のハラウが参加している様子も紹介されています。

Merrie Monarch Festival was held at Hilo, Hawaii.

The free Ho'ike was held on Wednesday.

Ho'ike と言えば、７月にオーランドで行われる

Ho'ike のコスチュームを検討中なのですが

偶然にもその曲"Parisa" を Ka Leo o Laka i ka Hikina o Ka La が

Merrie Monarchで踊っていました。写真をクリックするとビデオが見れます。

Talking of Ho'ike, 

mommy is considering about the costume of Ho'ike that will be held in Orland on July.

Coincidently, "Ka Leo o Laka i ka Hikina o Ka La" performed "Parisa" in Merrie Monarch Festival.

"Parisa" is the song of the Ho'ike in Orland this year.

そして今夜、北へ２時間ほど走ったStuart の Sailfish country clubでの

 Luau Party へ行ってきました。

大金持ちの中高年がたくさん集まったパーティーでした。

Merrie Monarch のフラとは程遠く。。。。場所も遠かった～

Mommy went to Luau Party at Sailfish Country Club in Stuart.

A lot of very rich old people gathered in this party.

....it's far from Merrie Monarch.....

the venue was far, too.

そして、レアはマミィの帰りが待ち遠しかった

Lea couldn't wait return of mommy.
