人生って。。 The Descendants

「The Descendants」を見ました。

オスカーは逃したものの、各主演男優賞をGeorge Clooney が受賞しています。

George Clooney who missed Oscar by a narrow margin

won a lot of best actor awards.

今までの様な、クールガイと行ったイメージから離れ

家族に翻弄させられる、ちょっと情けない中年男をコミカルに好演しています。

George Clooney has an image to be a cool middle-age,

but he performed very well as the poor middle-age man who is at mercy of his family.

ハワイの自然、音楽などを背景に

深刻なテーマをユーモアいっぱいに描いた映画で

娘役の二人の演技もとても良かったです。

 A lot of beautiful nature and music of Hawaii,

this film which described a serious theme with a lot of humor.

  Shailene Woodley and Amara Miller performed very well as daughters.

気持ちがバラバラだった父と娘が

最後に一つのキルトを掛けて、ＴＶを見ているシーンは

父娘の絆が取り戻せた事を言葉を使わずに見事に表していました。

The scene that Matt and his daughters lay a Quilt and watch TV without a word,

described very well that they found their bond again.

「ハワイに住んでいる＝一生バケーションみたいだといわれるが

もう１５年もサーフィンボードに乗っていない・・・・

のんきにビーチで過ごしているわけではない」

生活すると言う事は、場所がどこであろうがそれぞれ苦労がある事を知ろうともせず

ねたんだり、うらやましがったりする無責任な人は多くいるものです。

この最初のマットのナレーションが印象に残りました。

 "Outsiders think  living in Hawaii = permanent vacation.

 Matt hasn't been on a surfboard for 15 years,

and the fact that everyone dresses like a surfer 

doesn't mean they're happy-go-lucky beach bums."

 Wherever you live, there are a lot of troubles in life.

The people who envy someone's position 

never understand someone's burden.

映画を見終わって

家族の絆の象徴になるようなハワイアンキルトを作ろう・・・・

 そして散骨シーンがとても美しかったので、こんなふうに眠りたいなあと思いました。

Mommy finished watching the movie and thought、

she decided to make a Hawaiian Quilt for family bond,

and she want to go her rest in the beautiful ocean...
