皮算用 count it before win

ダディがラスベガスへ出張に行っていたので

来週末に行われるPGAツアー、マスターズの賭けチケットを買ってきました。

Daddy went to Las Vegas this week.

He bought betting tickets of PGA tour "Masters"

家族それぞれ、応援する選手を決めました。

ダディは世界ランキング１位の　Luke Donald（12倍）

上の子はマスターズと相性の良い　Phil Mickelson (10倍)

下の子は今一番のお気に入り　Rory McIlroy (7倍）

レアはいつも応援しているRickie  Fowler (70倍)はあまりにも勝算が薄いので

飛ばし屋ババちゃん事、Bubba Watson (35倍）

Family settled on each player who they support.

Daddy got a ticket of Luke Donald (12/1)who is a No.1 of world ranking.

Older boy got Phil Mickelson (10/1). 

Younger boy got Rory McIlroy (7/1).

Lea got a ticket of Rickie (70/1), didn't she?  

No, Lea discussed with mommy and decided to buy Bubba Watson (35/1).

さて、結果はいかに？

取らぬタヌキのなんとやら。。。

 ちなみに、Tiger Woods は３倍と一番人気

招待枠で出場の石川遼は１２５倍 です。日本人向けかな？

相変わらず same ol'

昨日、今日とボーイズはテストのため学校は半日

スケジュールもフレキシブルなため、レアは送り迎えで忙しい。

Yesterday and today, boys' school was half day for midterms.

Lea was so busy because she had to bring them to school and pick them up.

テストが終われば、相変わらずゲームばかりしているボーイズ。

プレイステーションのマスターズが発売になり

お気に入りの選手でプレイして盛り上がっています。

After the test, boys get involved in their games again.

They got a new game  "Masters" and

enjoy playing in favorite players.

レアがお散歩に出かけると、道端にリス！

When Lea went for a walk,

there was a squirrel on the path!!

レアは？　ハイもちろん

What did she next?

 .......of course.

相変わらずお転婆な姫です。

Lea is tomboy.

 

 

シャワーの後は following the shower

お散歩に出かけた時、虹が出ているのを見つけました。

Lea found a rainbow when she went for a walk.

東の方でシャワーが降っており、お日様が西に傾いているので

こんなに大きな虹を見ることができるのですね。

There's a shower at the east and the sun goes down to the west.

That's why Lea is able to see the rainbow.

A Song of Old Hawaii と言う歌を思い出しました。

虹を見ると何となく幸せな気分になりますね？

”にじ”という漢字はどうして虫へんがつくのでしょう？
古代中国では虹は空にかかる大きな龍（大きな蛇）と見ていたそうです。
”工”は天と地を結ぶと言う意味があるそうなので
大地から天へ登って行く昇龍。やっぱり縁起が良さそうです。

デコリーシュ more fun!

レアのお散歩の必需品リーシュを新しく購入しました。

Lea bought a new leash.

 It's a very simple.

 

ラインストーンを張り付けてゴージャスに。

 Mommy decorated the leash with rhinestone.

以前、香港の太極拳仲間がくれたビーズのストラップも付けてみました 。

Mommy put a beads key chain that Tai-chi friend gave her before, on it.

 

ますますお散歩が楽しくなり、

ジョギングしているおじさんとも一緒に走っっちゃった！！

Lea became more and more fun

and ran with a jogger.

 

良かったね。

人生って。。 The Descendants

「The Descendants」を見ました。

オスカーは逃したものの、各主演男優賞をGeorge Clooney が受賞しています。

Lea watched DVD "The Descendants"

George Clooney who missed Oscar by a narrow margin

won a lot of best actor awards.

今までの様な、クールガイと行ったイメージから離れ

家族に翻弄させられる、ちょっと情けない中年男をコミカルに好演しています。

George Clooney has an image to be a cool middle-age,

but he performed very well as the poor middle-age man who is at mercy of his family.

ハワイの自然、音楽などを背景に

深刻なテーマをユーモアいっぱいに描いた映画で

娘役の二人の演技もとても良かったです。

 A lot of beautiful nature and music of Hawaii,

this film which described a serious theme with a lot of humor.

  Shailene Woodley and Amara Miller performed very well as daughters.

気持ちがバラバラだった父と娘が

最後に一つのキルトを掛けて、ＴＶを見ているシーンは

父娘の絆が取り戻せた事を言葉を使わずに見事に表していました。

The scene that Matt and his daughters lay a Quilt and watch TV without a word,

described very well that they found their bond again.

「ハワイに住んでいる＝一生バケーションみたいだといわれるが

もう１５年もサーフィンボードに乗っていない・・・・

のんきにビーチで過ごしているわけではない」

生活すると言う事は、場所がどこであろうがそれぞれ苦労がある事を知ろうともせず

ねたんだり、うらやましがったりする無責任な人は多くいるものです。

この最初のマットのナレーションが印象に残りました。

 "Outsiders think  living in Hawaii = permanent vacation.

 Matt hasn't been on a surfboard for 15 years,

and the fact that everyone dresses like a surfer 

doesn't mean they're happy-go-lucky beach bums."

 Wherever you live, there are a lot of troubles in life.

The people who envy someone's position 

never understand someone's burden.

映画を見終わって

家族の絆の象徴になるようなハワイアンキルトを作ろう・・・・

 そして散骨シーンがとても美しかったので、こんなふうに眠りたいなあと思いました。

Mommy finished watching the movie and thought、

she decided to make a Hawaiian Quilt for family bond,

and she want to go her rest in the beautiful ocean...

２年ぶり! two years since then!

今日、ダディはカンパニートーナメントで

朝早くからCountry Club of Miami へ出かけました。

先週ボーイズのトーナメントがあったところです。

Daddy went for a company tournament at Country club of Miami

where the boys' tournament was held last week.

家に戻ったダディが手にしていたのは優勝カップ。

２年ぶりの勝利と喜んでいました。

Daddy brought a trophy back home.

He was so happy because it's two years since the last victory.

今週末、オーランドで行われたPGA Tour「the Arnold Palmer Invitational」

タイガーウッズが５打差で勝利、ツアー通算72勝目を挙げました。

なんと２年半ぶりの優勝です。

The Arnold Palmer Invitational golf tournament was held at Bay Hill in Orlando.

Woods held off McDowell to win by five strokes 

and got his first PGA win since 2009.

His career total is now 72 PGA victories.

 

２週間後のマスターズでの活躍が楽しみです。

We are looking forward to being in his element onstage of Augusta , two weeks away.

余談ですが、若い頃のArnold Palmer って

Tin Tin に似てませんか？

出た! spray out

今日、お散歩に行ったら

 When Lea went for a walk.

途中で急にスプリンクラーが出てきてビックリ

 The sprinklers went off.

スプリンクラーの出る時間を避けて行ったつもりだったのですが

サマータイムに調整されていなかった。。。。

 Lea intended to go and avoid the spray time,

but the timer didn't adjust to daylight saving....

 

気をつけなきゃ！
