個人戦 individual match

今日は個人戦のため、上の子は１１時半で早退

着替えて、軽く腹ごしらえ してすぐにコースへ向かいました。

Older boy got in the individual match today.

He got an early release, ate lunch and went to course immediately.

練習場はすでに参加者でいっぱい。

参加者は規定で決められたアベレージ以上で５０人程

下の子は残念ながらこのアベレージに及ばなかったのですが

来年は大丈夫！と本人は非常に前向きです。

Over 50 players who were chosen among each team

already practiced at driving range.

Younger boy who was not chosen this year,

believed that he will be able to play next year.

ここはサイド小高い山に挟まれているので風が通り抜け

常に風にさらされている木々は斜めに生えていました。

Coyote Creek Golf course that was designed by Jack Nicklaus,

is located between hills, and is always windy.

Trees grow diagonally.

そして今日も風が強い。

Today is windy too.

ずっと上の子が終わるのを待っていたレア

「良いとこ無しだった。。。」と肩を落として戻ってきた上の子

残念！まだまだ練習ですね。

"Nothing has a good shot." older boy dropped his shoulder and said.

Lea encouraged him to try harder next time.

上の子はハイスクールの最終個人戦に参加出来る事になり

今日は他のチームメンバーと試合場所のCoyote Creek でプレイ。

Older boy will be able to participate individual golf game on Tuesday.

He played at Coyote Creek with team members today.

Lea just went for a walk around driving range.

夕方迎えに行ったら、キャプテンとパターをしていた上の子

He practiced putter with captain, when picked him up.

夕日がきれいでした。

The sun set was so beautiful.

冷静な with a level gaze

最近、身体を動かす機会がめっきり減り、腹筋しようかな〜と

床に転がりふと見ると。。。。

The opportunities of exercise decreased recently.

mommy felt the need of ab exercise and lay down on the floor....

若者の事故 high speed crash

ボーイズの学校のすぐ近くで

昨日、車が家に突っ込むという事故がありました。

車を運転していたのは１７歳の高校生

High speed car crashed into a house yesterday.

It happened close to the school of boys.

Sadly, the driver was a high school student.

一台の車が道のコーナーにあるポールにぶつかり
もう一台がすごい勢いで家に突っ込んだらしい。

近所のおじさんが以前もこの辺りで事故があったと話していました。

Two cars were being driven recklessly and lost control.
One car careened into the home,
while the other car crashed into the pole.

Neighbor told that there was an accident before around there.

家の中にいた女性とその娘がけがを負い病院に搬送されました。
母親は重体だそうです。

早く回復する事を願います。

A 40-year-old woman and her 9-year-old daughter,
who were inside the home, were injured.
The woman was transported to a hospital to be treated for critical injuries.
Hope that she recovers.

ティーンエイジャーの交通事故はやはりスピードの出し過ぎによる運転ミスが多く

クラッシュするとシリアスな事になりなりやすい。。。。

車が無いと生活が難しいアメリカですが

ボーイズも免許を取る日が近いので心配です。

Teenager's high speed crash is often deadly accident.

It's pretty soon that boys get driver's license.......worry about it.

今日はキルト教室だったので

洗面所に生ける花を庭から一輪

いい感じです。

Today was mommy's quilt class.

Mommy picked flower at backyard to arrange it in a bathroom.

どこのお宅もお花でいっぱい、きれいです。

でも花が散った後の軸のような物が風に乗ってたくさん庭に飛んできます。

これがかなり尖っていて、刺さると針のように痛い。

There are many flowers in the town, so beautiful.

However, many shanks of flower fly to backyard.

The shank is pointy, like a needle.

レアも庭から戻るたび、身体のどこかにつけてくるので

気をつけないといけませんね。

After Lea returns from backyard, she brings it.

Mommy needs to check it because it's so hurt

if it sticks in foot of Lea and family.

今週は毎日練習ラウンドです。

部屋でPCに向かい熱を溜め込んで、ファンをつけて過ごすより

ずっとアースディ的！

The golf team of boys finished tournament this season,

only practice round in this week.

It's better than sitting in front of PC with cooling fan.

アメリカ〜ン！ American style!

今日はブランチに近所のScrambl'z へ行きました。

メニューはパンケーキハウスのようなものですが

店内はちょっと可愛かった。。。いかにもアメリカな感じ。

The family went to Scrambl'z for brunch.

This restaurant is said "the best breakfast in town."

The style is American diner.

量もアメリカです。。。。食べきれない。

The plate size is big.......it's also American style.

外に止まっていた車もいかにもって感じ

カーズのキャラクターみたい。。。

They found this car outside of the restaurant.

It looks like a character of Cars (Disney's movie).

今日レアはブランチに連れて行ってもらえなかったので

ディナーは引っ越し後、初のBBQ

Lea was not able to go to brunch today, but

she was able to join a BBQ dinner.

とりあえず購入した新しいグリル

ダディはスタイリッシュな新しいグリルがお気に入りらしい

This is a new grill.

Daddy likes this stylish grill.

フロリダで使っていたものは全て処分してきてしまったので

まに合わせのこんな状態ではありますが。。。

All of the outdoor furniture were donated before moving in CA.

They used temporary furniture today.

美味しくても

アメリカンな食生活は絶対メタボになる。。。

BBQ is so yummy!

However, American food life makes us metabolic syndrome .

では食後はさっぱりと冷えたスイカで〆

At least dessert is juicy watermelon.

さて、どうするかな？ what should do?

今日もよい天気。

レアはいつもの公園をお散歩していました。

とても広いので他のワンコがいないときは少しだけリーシュを外して歩きます。

It's a beautiful day!

Lea walked at the park without leash, because there was no other dog around her.

ご存知の通りレアは犬が苦手。。。。(^ ^;)

遠くに他のワンコたちが走っているのを見つけて。。。。さてどうする？

As you know, Lea doesn't like a DOG.

She found two dogs running in the distance and stood irresolute for a moment....hahaha

最終日 good job!

一番試合数の多かったコースです。

レアも何度も足を運び

Lea came here many times.

ボーイズを応援し
