明け方４時過ぎ、レアは大きなタイア
のきしむ音そして
クラッシュする音で目が覚めました。
家のすぐ近くの道路で車が電灯にぶつかったらしい。
At 4:12am this morning Lea were woken up by loud tire screeching
followed by a large crash sound.
The SUV had crashed into a light pole on the road near Lea's house.
近所の人が４時頃、車中荒らしを通報
２人の容疑者が車を盗んで逃走したのを警察が目星を付け
追跡していたときに起こった事故だそうです。
The neighbor called to report a car break-in about 4 a.m.
When officers were responding to that report,
Two individuals stole a car, an officer spotted them, which led to a crash.
容疑者の一人は重体、もう一人は逃走中
警察によるとこの地域で車中窃盗が頻繁に起こっていて
事故を起こした車もこの２４時間以内に報告された３件のうちの一件だそうです。
One suspect was inside the SUV and taken to the hospital with serious injuries,
and another suspect is at large.
Police say there have been a rash of car burglaries in the area;
the stolen car was one of three car break-ins reported within a 24-hour period.
怖いです。
