思い込み Oz The great and Powerful

 今日は「Oz the Great and Powerful」を家で観ました。

The family watched "Oz the Great and Powerful " at home.

１９６３年 Judy Garland 主演の映画 「The wizard of Oz」を彷彿させます。

白黒からカラーに変わるところ、

エメラルドシティやイエローブリックのイメージもそのままです。

ライオンや案山子もさりげなく登場。

This movie remind us Judy Garland's 1963 movie "The Wizard of Oz"

 this one starts in black and white,
then turns into color once the main character enters the land of Oz.
The color palate for Oz The Great and Powerful is very much like the one for The Wizard of Oz.  Emerald City, Yellow brick 

ただのペテン師オズが知恵と技術そして皆の協力で

偉大なるオズの魔法使いを演出し、魔女達に実在すると思い込ませて

エメラルドシティから遠ざけます。

Oz who is a mere circus magician, used his ingenuity and illusion,
at last he convinced wicked witches that he is a great wizard

１９６３年のオズも

ライオン、ティンマン、カカシの願いを

魔法ではなく気づかせる事で叶えていました。

必要なのは、思い込ませるというところ

今回のオズも同じやり方でした。

The Oz of 1963 movie convinced lion, tin man and scare crow 

they had already had the thing which they wanted.
It was belief not magic that was necessary.
Both Oz used the same trick.

思い込みにとらわれて現実を見失う魔女達

思い込みによって本来の力を発揮する事ができたライオン、ティンマン、カカシ

思い込みは成功と破滅のどちらも引き寄せる協力な武器なのですね。

 Wicked witches lost sight of truth by their own belief
Lion, tin man and scare crow unleashed their talents by their own belief, too.
The own belief attracts both success and ruin.
