新しい家の庭にはフルーツの木が前の家よりたくさんあります。

There are many fruits trees in new backyard

青リンゴ、グレープフルーツ、オレンジ、レモンとどれも鈴生り

菜園もあって、レアはハーブをムシって食べていました。

The trees grow in abundance.

Lea pulled and ate some herb at garden spot.

このスイカはどこまで大きくなるのかな？

シーズンにはブドウやアプリコットも出来るらしいので楽しみです。

クリスマスツリー tree farm

今日はクリスマスツリーを買いに行きました。

今年は自分たちでツリーをカットしようとMorgan Hill のツリーファームへ。

Lea went to tree farm to cut a Christmas tree by themselves.

クリスマスツリーといっても大きさや種類が色々。

There were various trees in the farm.

残念ながら購入したいNoble fir はプレカットしかなかったので

自分たちでカットするのは断念。

今年は今までの中で一番大きなツリー 9-10 ft（約３m）を選びました。

The family wanted to buy Noble fir tree, 

but the farm has only pre-cut Noble fir.

They gave up cutting and chose 9~10ft pre-cut tree.

トリミングやネットに入れてもらうため列に並びます。

 Lea lined for trimming of tree.

待っている間、レアはジャイアントサンタを発見

Lea found this giant Santa.

車に積んで家に戻り、さてスタンドに立てようとしたら

幹が太くて入らない。。。。

ダディとボーイズが交代で幹をカットし３０分ほど奮闘

After having come back to home, the family noticed that

the trunk is very big and didn't put into a tree stand.

Daddy and boys trimmed the trunk for 30 minutes.

無事リビングに収まりました〜

Finally, it came to living room!!

早速こんなに飾り付けしている家もみつけたよ〜

The family found this house tonight.

家族で過ごす日 Happy Thanksgiving

今日はサンクスギビング

フロリダでは家族はいつもオーランドに行ってしまいレアはお留守番

去年はカリフォルニアへの引っ越しでばたばたと慌ただしく

今年はやっとレアも一緒に、そして新居でサンクスギビング

Thanksgiving day!

In Florida, the family always went to Orland and Lea stayed at home.

Last year, daddy already moved to California, and mommy & boys prepared move.

Finally, the family celebrate today with Lea at new home.

ボーンレスだけどターキーを焼きました。

じっくり１時間半。ジューシーで美味し〜

Mommy rosted boneless turkey.

It's delicious.

秘密 mystery

レアも新しい家になれ、日中お留守番をお願いしました。

Lea got used to new home, she stayed at home in the daytime.

家に戻ると、レアのお風呂セットからオートミールが出され

こんな状態に。。。。

After mommy returned home, she found this.

This is the Lea's bath set, Lea seemed to take out the can of oatmeal.

それにしてもレアはいったいどうやってこの大きな缶を外に出し

ふたを外したのか？？？

How did Lea get the big can from the green bath.

やっぱり手が使えるとしか思えない器用さ。

これはレアの秘密です。

Lea must be able to use a hand.

一段落 finished moving

土曜日はダディとボーイズも協力して荷物運びをしたので

今日は残りの大きな家具だけ引っ越し屋さんに頼み

夜には一通り片付けが終わりました。

The family worked together on Saturday.

The mover moved only big furniture today.

Finally, moving finished!

ちょっと落ち着かなかったレアもようやく一段落。

Lea moved and settled in.

今回、TI Moving の井上さんに引っ越しをお願いしました。

見積もりは写真だけでざっくり、電話も素っ気なくちょっと心配でしたが

当日はとてもにこやかにきめ細やかに対応して下さいました。

They were good!

着々と be getting move

引っ越しの準備もだいぶ進み

今朝はダイニングにシャンデリアをつけてもらいました。

天井が高い！

Electrician came to install a chandelier at dining room.

The ceiling is so high!

元々付いていたボックスが弱いので

レインフォースボックスに付け替えてもらい、高さを調整

The original box is weak for the chandelier, 

changed into a reinforce box.

パイナップルのデザインで可愛い。

It's pineapple, cute design.

ここ数日、お散歩もきちんと行けなかったレア

今日は早めに出かけました。

一年間歩いたこの広い公園をお散歩するのも今日が最後かな？

ご近所に引っ越しとは言え、ちょっと寂しい。

These few days, Lea was not able to go for a walk.

Today may be last day in this park which Lea went for a walk for one year.

feeling is sweet a little.

今日も荷物運びのマミィ

レアも落ち着きません。

Mommy packed house stuff in the car,

and Lea was not able to settle down.

レアのお洋服も運びましょう。

Lea's dresses too.

マミィが落ち着かないので

レアは落ち着く場所が欲しかったのでしょう。

Lea's feeling does not calm down because mommy is busy.

Lea just wanted the good place to relax.....

でもねえ〜

but it's too small.

あれやこれや this and that

今日はキルトの日

この場所でのお教室最終日です。

Today is a quilt day before move.

家族にはあまり認められていませんが、

これもマミィの仕事の一つ。

もちろんレアもお手伝い。

The family don't recognize but the quilt class is mommy's important job.

Of course, Lea helps mommy.

出来るだけ本人の意思を尊重したアドバイスをし

完成作品を見て、今後の課題を提示します。

Mommy respects the intention of her student and advised on the best way.

Other student showed her finished work.
Mommy suggests some points for more improvement.

キルトの後はすぐにボーイズのお迎えに走り

After lesson, Lea picked boys up immediately.

ご飯の支度の合間に荷物運び

肉体労働はマミィの役目なので

一緒に行動しているレアもつかれたあ〜

Prepare dinner, drive house stuff to new home.....

well, physical work is mommy's task in this family.

Lea always followed mommy and tired very much.

なつかしー Yay!

昨日ダディが日本からレアにお土産を買ってきてくれました。

日本にいたとき愛用していたトリート”おすわりくん"

Daddy brought Japanese snack for Lea.

Lea ate it regularly when she lived in Japan.

そしてこちらも

Daddy bought it too.

レア覚えてる？

日本語のレベル Japanese level

マミィは日本語の補習塾のお手伝いに行きました。

今日のクラスは日本で言えば幼稚園の年少／年中さんなのですが

ひらがなや漢字も勉強していて

なんだか我が家のボーイズとあまりレベルが変わらない。。。

Mommy went to help Japanese tutoring school.

The students are 3 or 4years old, but they learn Hiragana and Kanji character.

Their level looks same as the level of boys.

カレンダーの日付の読み方も。

つい先日ボーイズがきちんと言えない事が判明し、マミィが教えたばかり。

やっぱり同レベル？？？

The students were learning how to read date of calendar by Japanese.

A few days ago, boys forgot it and mommy taught it.

家に戻った後、マミィがボーイズに質問したところ

ついたち、ふつか、みっか、よっか。。。。

そして次を迷った下の子が言ったのは

”ついか！”

追加してどうする！！と思わず大笑いでした。ありゃりゃ

After mommy returned home, she asked boys.

Younger boy replied 

"Tsuitachi (first) Futsuka(second) Mikka(third) Yokka(forth)...."

he was at a loss to say for a while.

A few seconds later, he said "Tsuika!"

The family had a big laugh because 

The meaning of"Tsuika" is addition.

"Itsuka"is correct answer.
