今日、日本のドラマを見ていた時の事。

レアはもちろん無関心でTVの前でまどろんでいました。

When daddy and mommy was watching Japanese TV drama today,

obviously, Lea was not interested in it.

ところが、突然ウーッと言って画面を見ながら後ずさり警戒心をあらわに

But, Lea growled and took a step back suddenly.

その時の画面にはこの方のドアップが。。。

His closeup face was on TV....

確かに迫力のあるお顔ですが

レアをうならせるとは、すごいです。

This is a Japanese sweet indeed.

そしてこちらは浅草名物のきんつばだそうで

２０分も並んでゲットして来たらしい。

Daddy stood in line about 20 minutes to get this sweet potato Japanese cake.

とりあえず食べたいらしい。。。

マミィがキッチンから庭をみると、パーゴラの上に３羽の鳥

When mommy prepared a dinner,

she found those birds.

これは玄関前の巣で卵を温めていた山鳩

以前は二羽だったので、もしかしたら一羽は子供かもしれません。

ずっと巣に座り続けていた親鳥は、

ようやくフリーになったのですね。

They may be pigeons which sat on the nest in front of entrance.

Probably one is child.

Parent bird became free from the nest.

そんな事を思いながら作っていた今日の夕飯はヒレカツ

最近よくグルテンフリーという言葉を耳にするので

マミィは小麦粉を付けずにパン粉をつけてみました。

What is the menu of dinner today?

Mommy encounters the word "Gluten free" recently,

she made Tonkatsu without flour.

グルテンフリーヒレカツの出来上がり〜！！！と思ったのですが、

パン粉は小麦粉から出来てることにすぐ気づき

ただの手抜きカツとなりました。

Mommy thought she made "Gluten free tonkatsu" yeah~~

hm? wait a sec.....bread crumb made from flour....

収穫したら after harvest

キルトが終わった後、

レアはお庭を走り回って遊んでいました。

After mommy's quilt class,

Lea played in back yard.

もちろん菜園も見回り

花が咲き始めたな〜と思っていたスナップエンドウが

いつの間にかたくさん出来ていました。

おいしいケーキ cake lesson

今日マミィはGoogle カフェでパティシエをしている方に

ストロベリーショートケーキの作り方を教わってきました。

Mommy took a cake lesson today.

一人で全く同じように作れれば、

もうスタンフォードまで買いに行かなくてもいいかも

Now, it was not necessary to go to Stanford shopping mall to buy their cake.

レアも大好きなのでうれしい！

Strawberry shortcake is Lea's favorite.

期待のお店 come again?

今夜ボーイズはゴルフ部の打ち上げパーティという事で、

ダディとマミィは以前から気になっていた炉端焼きのお店「いろり家」に行きました。

Boys went to "job well done "party of golf team tonight.

Daddy & mommy went to Japanese grill restaurant ”Irori-Ya"which they wanted to go.

自家製の干物や釜飯など、美味しいものもあり

正直それほどでもないと思う物もありました。

一皿がとても品が良い量なので。。。。コストパフォーマンスもかなり割高だし

どうしてももう一度来たい店かと聞かれると

ちょっと考えます。

Something is good, but something is so so....

One plate is small.

In terms of cost-effectiveness, other place may be better than here. 

大吉！ lucky stroke count!

試しにレアもチェック！

ところが、凶もあり結果は今一つ

そこで、漢字の名前を付けてみると。。。

大吉〜！！になりました。

Daddy & mommy gave Lea Japanese kanji name.

　then......her name changed to Excellent Luck!!

ラベンダー lavender

庭のラベンダーがいっぱい咲いています。

いやされる好い香りです。

The fragrance of lavender is good.

マミィはラベンダースティック作りに挑戦

一束を奇数にしなければいけないので、７本で作ってみました。

レアもお手伝い。

Mommy made a lavender stick, and Lea helped it.

今日もとても暑かったのですが、少し風があり気持ちがいい

Today is so hot day too, but some wind blows and comfortable.

なかなか可愛く出来ました♥️

月曜日から気温が上がり続け、今日は記録的な暑さになり３８度ぐらい

エアコンが止まりません。。。

Temperature continues rising this week, at last it reached 100℉ today.

Air conditioner never stop....

レアは初プールです。

最初はちゃぱちゃぱと水をかけて遊んでいたのですが。

Lea enjoyed playing with water,

ちょっと泳いでみました。。。

and swimming.....

ビキニを着るのを忘れてしまったので、恥じらっております (^^;)
