今日は家から南に１時間ほどの所にある Pinnacles 国立公園へ行きました。
お天気もよく暖かなので、トレイル近くのパーキングが満車。
トレイル入り口までのシャトルバスも今日は無かったため、
ビジターセンターから３マイルほどハイクする事になりました。。。。
The family went to Pinnacles National Park
that is a U.S. National Park protecting a mountainous area
located east of the Salinas Valley in Central California,
about 60miles southeast from Lea's house.
When they arrived visiter center, upper parking was full.
They have to start hiking from visiter center.
下の方は川の水が干上がっていましたが
A downstream was dried up.
山を上って行くと川のせせらぎが聞こえて気分がいい。
でも、上りが坂が続いて、下の子はバテた〜
Sound of stream, cool breeze
They walked uphill, felt so good.
However, younger boy ran out of steam halfway to the cave.
Bear Gulch トレイルを上がって行くと
途中ロッククライミングしている人達がいました。
There were many people tried rock climbing.
そして、ケーブに到着。
この中は真っ暗なので、ライトを装着してダディは準備万端
They arrived at cave.
Daddy was all set!
身体の大きなアメリカ人が通れるのかな？と思うほど
かなり狭い場所もありました。
中には滝も流れていて、空気がひんやりと寒い。
Inside of cave was chilly, and narrow.
Big guy may get stuck.....
外に出るとこの景色。
山が地滑りしてこのケーブや景色が出来あがったのだそうです。
When they went through out,
got a sensational view.
This geography was made by landslide.
とっても大きな松ぼっくりがいっぱい落ちていました。
Mommy found lots of pinecones.
It's huge!
久しぶりに自然を満喫。
日頃の運動不足の解消にもあり、楽しかったです！
They enjoyed pleasant weather and beautiful nature,
and it's good exercise!!
