山火事！ wildfire

レアがボーイズと一緒にランチを食べにいった帰り道。

煙が立ち上るのを発見！

Lea, mommy and boys found the smoke on the way back from lunch.

山火事のようです。

It seems smoke go out from mountain.

たくさん消防車が走って行きました。。。。

A lot of fire trucks passed on the road.

カリフォルニアは今ドライシーズン。

自然発火による山火事がよく発生するのですが

まさか近所で発生するとは。。。。。

Wildfire season in CA now.

Lea never thought it happened in neighborhood....

３時間後には鎮火したようで、消防車も戻っていきました。

ひとまず良かった。

Three hours later, the fire under control.

Thank goodness!



夜のニュースを見て改めて、被害が大きくなかった事にほっ！

くちかちゅ！ farmer's market

今日はサンノゼ日本町のファーマーズマーケットに行きました。

　The family went to San Jose farmer's market

串カツのフードトラック

There was a food truck. "Kushikatsu"

もちろんレアも頂きました。

Lea couldn't wait to get small bite.

石釜ピザも美味しかったです。

This was good, too.

新鮮な野菜や果物はどれでも１パウンド１ドルでした。

ジャムジャム Jam!

ダディが２週間ほどのアジア出張から帰ってきました。

お土産にシンガポール名物のKAYAジャムを買って来てくれました。

久しぶりに頂きました。美味しい〜です。

Daddy came home from business trip of Asia after an interval of two weeks

He bought Singaporean Kaya jam. ....long forgotten taste. Yum!

そして、マミィは完熟した梅の実でジャムを作りました。

まるでアプリコットジャムのようなので、パンだけではなく

ブリエチーズと頂いても美味しい〜ワインと合います！

This is a homemade jam.

Mommy made it from Japanese plum.

It taste like an apricot Jam, and the jam with brie cheese matches wine.

通常営業で。。operate as useal

夏休みなので、ボーイズはレイジーに過ごしていますが

マミィはキルトのクラスやリボンレイ講習会といつも通り。。。。

Because of summer holiday, boys spend everyday very lazy.

Mommy holds quilt lesson as usual.

そして、今日はリタイアーしたフランス料理のシェフにお料理を習ってきました。

お土産に持ちかえったところ、ボーイズに好評だったのはダックのグリル。

自動的にレアは子牛を頂くことに。。。。なんと贅沢な。

Mommy went to cooking class today.

Boys liked duck, and Lea got veal....

そのレアは、今日も通常通り規則正しく生活をしております。

Lea keeps regular hours.

ボーイズも少し見習ってほしい物です。

Boys! please emulate Lea's behavior.

贅沢！ with a dainty tooth

色々実りがあるレアのガーデンですが

ストロベリーは２、３粒ずつぐらいしか収穫出来ないので

Lea gets various fruits in her garden.....but 

One cropping is only a little.

いつもレア姫がお召し上がりになり

たっぷりビタミンCを補給

Only princess Lea is able to eat them.

家族は食べられません。

The family is not able to eat.......

桃の木になっているピーチも２０個ほど

食べごろの桃も少しずつなので

How about peach....

こちらも姫のデザートに。。。。

same....

もう〜最高の贅沢！

It's her privilege!

見張り番！ lookout

梅の実がすっかり熟してきました。

The plum matured 

桃もそろそろ食べごろ。

The peach too.

リスや鳥 は食べ放題! そして食べ散らかし。

塀の上で食べたらしい桃が二つ置き去りに

Welcome squirrels & birds ! All you can eat!

.......leftover peaches on the fence....they are messy eaters.

今日はトウモロコシの下でごそごそしているリスがいたので

見に行ったら、やっぱり一つむしり取られてました。

One squirrel was eating something under the corn bush in this morning.

It ate one baby corn.

成長過程の途中で採られちゃうとトウモロコシが食べられない！

と思ったのか、レアがしっかり見張り番。

That's Lea's cue!

Lea sat at bush as a lookout.

でもいっぱい葉っぱやらなんやらが付いてしまい

見張り番も大変です。

The job looks hard

夏休みだからね it's summer holiday.

夏休みに入り、ボーイズは何もせずゲームばかりしているので

そりゃあ〜マミィは　(#｀皿´)<怒怒怒怒怒怒!!!　となり。。。

Summer holiday = indulging on game 

Of course, mommy gets angry.

ゴルフの練習に来たボーイズなのでした。。。。

Boys came to driving range for practice.....

こまったもんね〜

今日したこと I got this

今日は下の子のACTのテストの日でした。

朝、レアがしっかりお見送り。

Today is the day of ACT test of younger boy.
Lea brought him to venue in the morning.

そしてお迎え。

After test, Lea picked him up!

午後はボーイズと一緒にゴーグルを買いに行きました。

レアが選んだのはやっぱりピンク？

６〜１２歳用。

After noon, Lea went to Sports Authority to buy their goggle.
Lea chose a pink one for age 6 to 12.

ちょっと大きい

Looks big.

これにしようっと！
